Even if you have no family history of mental illness weed can cause psychosis. If you've ever witnessed someone in a psychotic state it's one of the most heartbreaking things ever.
This happened to a girl from my school... She started dating a guy that we all knew was bad news (we even tried to tell her). She started smoking weed with him and after smoking with him for a month she then out of no where completely lost it. That's when rumors (which were confirmed) he had given her weed that was laced. You would have to see it to believe it, it made her revert back to a small child and she was placed in a psych ward for years. She didn't get out until we almost graduated (which was 2 years later) and her mind still hasn't been right since.

People at my school go outside on breaks and sometimes smoke, and there was this girl WHO WAS MY AGE, who was completely unaware of the weed this kid was smoking, but was curious to know how smoking weed feels like so she asked him for a cigarette. You know what happened during her next class?? She ran out of the classroom, STRAIGHT TO A WALL, then collapsed on the ground DROOLING and SHAKING uncontrollably. The principal happened to have classes at the same floor as her and went to see what that BOOM he heard was ('cause she hit the floor that hard). He was holding her and called for an ambulance but in the meantime she got up and started laughing and making jokes with the principal until she collapsed again.
The weed was definitely zooked! I already knew this from when he was outside with no shoes on.😩 This isn't anything knew, still happening till this day. Don't take nothing from nobody! It can happen in food not only drugs too.
