    I learn a lot from watching your videos. I have to tell you, though, that the background music is a nightmare for those of us who are seniors and hearing impaired. It really isn’t needed. You have a pleasant voice and good enunciation generally. After watching this video, I feel that this is a medium that I will like. Thank you.

    Shame that you blended it at the end, the rough texture on top of the watered graphite looked awesome :) what a great combination

    Thank you for this tutorial. I just bought a set of water soluble graphite today, so am going to be drawing an apple tomorrow using your techniques. :-)

    any way I can use pencil charcoal etc.. to do outline of image and if for example face looks mess easily get rid of image wipe it of like chalk board, trying to do on canvas that are primed, tired, pencils seem to always leave marks and take forever to delete, also charcoal with needed rubber difficult to remove all traces, must be way can remove sketches easily so dont have to spend long time rubbing out etc.. heard water soluable pencils but find not great. Two questions...does it smug in normal graphite form and is it erasable in graphite form?

      It does everything graphite does. It's just also water-soluble.

    what are cross contour lines?

    • @aznSeddie
      @aznSeddie 7 років тому +3

      Clorox Bleach They're lines that follow the shape of the object being drawn to build its form and values. Round/spherical objects like apples will have curved cross contouring like in the video. Comes in handy when combined with cross hatching 3D subjects.

    I was wondering if you could erase the graphite that was mixed with water and 5 seconds later you answered it. It's as if you read my mind. Lol

    Well, only water-soluble pencils are water-soluble :-). That's why they name them so... regular pencils are not ;-)

      No, you spent 10 minutes of your life learning how to render value with a unique medium. (replying to a comment from four years ago lol)
