United Have plenty of CB's, so they could reasonably play 3 at the back with Telles as the left wingback. In a more attacking setup, he can probably also be used as an inverted right-side wingback (which we saw in the video). He won't be on penalties anymore, but surely nobody in United will be better suited for left-footed freekicks and corners, which means he will likely continue to produce assists in the EPL.

Last season is 0.3, upper one is 0.6 Anyone who is confused should go and check his stat on whoscored.com

Telles and Shaw should probably be switched out depending on the type of team United are facing and how potent their right-sided attack is. McGuire isn't that great a 1v1 defender either so him covering for Telles isn't necessarily going to cut it against really good wingers. Telles can play against slower and low block teams to provide potency down the left flank, service Cavani and take the burden off other attacking and creative players. Against fast teams great down the right flank or the very best teams, Shaw is the more complete fullback and provide defensive solidity. Ultimately, it's a great squad option to have but the biggest gamble and hope for Manchester United is that one of the two great teenage wingers they just bought will merit easing into first team games the way Greenwood did last season.
