In all fairness to John Laryngitis, who the hell would have thought to themselves, "I better make sure this is the right guy and not some other one-legged wrestler."
The Men on a Mission one is SO incredibly sad...it spells out WWF in 1995 perfectly. "If you can rap or come close to it, you're hired...no actual talent in the ring required" and somehow this is overlooked...in almost every other video. F*CKING ridiculous!
@@jimbo_1312 No, actually they worked together in a later group the Hardys had that used a real ring. There's footage of the group as a bonus feature on the Twist of Fate DVD.
According to Moody himself when he had a meeting with Vince and Pat he didn't know anything about the Paul Bearer character. His time working in a funeral home was on his resume. Vince looked at it and laughed. Moody thought he had blown the interview until he got a call later.
I can't really see (or read) "Stu Hart" and "WWF" in the same sentence without my head wandering to the "hoooooooore" prank call as told by Jim Cornette...
I would've thought Jim Ross would already have known Marc Mero, since they were together in WCW when Mero was Johnny B. Badd. He likely would've met Rena/Sable too since Marc was married to her then.
6:27- I remember when this happened! I “kinda” felt bad for those 2 guys that never really got a chance…. But with how petty it clearly was on WWFs side they never had a chance
9:18- I knew all about this one a long time ago! I would say within a year after the infamous “Hell in a Cell” match where Mankind showed us all he was trying to learn how to fly and clearly he was not doing so good at it lol So if I knew about it (someone that put literally zero effort into learning about the behind the scenes stuff back then and puts almost no effort into learning about stars personal life’s back then and now) then there’s no reason why any other wrestling fan from back then wouldn’t of known about it either!!! He was definitely one of my favorites to hate! He was also one of the best villains throughout The Undertaker’s career!!! And after I saw how bad a$$ he was after taking that swan dive off that cell and kept fighting I was a permanent fan of his from that point on!!!
Kane the character is not the guy who play him .what culture keep throwing shot at Kane when Jacob is the one saying and doing things people don't like. I can tell the difference.
In all fairness to John Laryngitis, who the hell would have thought to themselves, "I better make sure this is the right guy and not some other one-legged wrestler."
Wait I thought Zack *was* the "wrong" one-legged wrestler. But by the time it got figured out he was already under contract.
I liked The Mean Street Posse
Cool theme song
3:46 A McMahon hearing you rap and giving you a push because of it? Like that'll ever work out
If I had a nickel for each time that happened I'd have two nickels.... Which isn't a lot but weird it happened more than once
That explains Mankind's original outfit and music.
Brian Pillman is my favorite entry on this list he was ahead of his time rip Brian pillman

I remembered that scene in Beyond the mat. When vince was saying "I want you to puke! C'mon! Puke!" Just yelling at Darren.
Joey Abs wrestled for Matt and Jeff Hardy's indie fed in North Carolina. So did Shane Helms and Shannon Moore.

Shane Helms and Shannon Moore also worked in WCW.

Well Sables then husband was also used as a Little Richard lookalike in WCW and made to act 'flamboyant'.

How did Jim Ross of all people found Sable more of a star than Marc Mero????
Sable made a lot more money for the WWF that Mero ever did.
I would've thought Jim Ross would already have known Marc Mero, since they were together in WCW when Mero was Johnny B. Badd. He likely would've met Rena/Sable too since Marc was married to her then.
Because she was a bigger star by far. Doesn't mean she was a nice person or a good promo but somehow she made them lots of money
Rick Bognar helped train Jinder Mahal
Damn

I still remember how Matt Damon got hired….so crazy
He's the reason I'm here.

Unlucky. Ageing sucks.
Jim Neidhart’s story matches well with his daughter! 😂😂 Natalya is drizzling schitz! 🤣🤣 does not deserve to be in the WWE HOF.
Jail predator vince
Pete Gas and Bobby Fish should tag team as GasFish or Fish Gas
Shouldn’t Eugene be on the list?

It's pretty childish the way they keep taking pot shots at him. We get it, they don't like his politics. Now grow up and move on.
Wild indeed
Mick Foley was terrible. I turned the channel every time I saw him.
