Good to here you not speak bad about this model...as I heard some negative talk about this model...but not sure what that is about. Easy to do carburetor job on. I have a couple more with no spark etc... But sure I will have soon presentation of this saw model in action. Neighter of mine has that kind of stop switch...Mine has a push patent...located at same spot as your switch patented one. Hmm If someone needs parts...i have some he he ! :-) I am in Norway. Ok

@@stridebaad1219 hello sir, I have three stihls at the moment a ms 170, ms 250 and an 08s that I recently added. I think a small top handle aborist saw would be my next addition.
Hello sir, I love the 170, I use for limming and the smaller stuff. The 250 I use for the bigger logs for my log burner. Then the 08s, my friend had one in work and swears by them, so I kept a look out for one and found one for sale in Merthyr. It came with a brand new 17" bar and chain, cost me 70 quid.which I thought was a good price.

What size bar do you run on the 08? Is it solid nose? R
