Very comprehensive review Cameron! I believe you very well covered all relevant aspects when you plan to own such a car. After owning a VZ for a year now, I can only confirm it is every time a joy to drive. Since basically it's a Golf Clubsport, that's what you can expect from a manufacturer that has such a legacy in building FWD hot hatches.
Was skeptical initially until I test drove the VZ and VZx, wayyyyy better than the Golf and T-Roc for me inside, finish is great and zero piano black inside - ended up buying the VZ and no regrets! Great review 👌
Yes I agree. I was dreaming of M2 and currently own an BMW M50i V8. I thought this beast can be my cheap alternative toy which I don’t need to care of the insurance, maintenance cost. 😊
Those paddle shifters are straight out of an Audi. I always found it funny that SEAT got access to the Audi parts bin despite being the budget brand - but it's paid off for Cupra.
No wonder Volkswagen is billions of dollars in debt; how is Skoda and Seat still in business? They are essentially rebadged Volkswagens. This must cost Volkswagens billions in unnecessary costs. Time to ax both of these unnecessary and redundant failures.
@@ProductReviewCars that sucks, regular seat range like ibiza leon or atecas are great cars. I prefer them over polo, golfs and tiguans and save few £€$
@@ProductReviewCars yes and it is a DSG ( standing for dual clutch transmisiion convertet from german) You described it as DCt and its not DCT in this car

Its a Great car… i have one like yours…. Ver balanced it can be sport and a perfect daily car

Seat and skoda brang in around €30 billion of revenue in 2022, they are very much in business.
Seat leon would be the more budget version. The entry lvl cupra is a top spec leon not a budget leon 😂
