We all dream of a team of Carraghers 🔴
My childhood was watching Carragher stopping Chelsea's Dider Drogba time after time even Drogba admitted few years ago that Carra was toughest defender he came up against doing his career.
For attitude if not goal scoring prowess I would have had 1 to 11 plus the subs all Carras
I was in the Kop that day...takes me back...nice that I was part of the roar you still remember today, Carra!
I love this retrospective. His memory is phenomenal . Wade Smith lol
Lovely idea for a docu series. Redmen proving yet again they're a cut above most fan channels with this type of thoughtful content. Keep it up boys (and Chloe).
In tyhe words of Tina Turner.... Simply the Best, better than all the rest
I remember you lads sat infront of a few Liverpool flags years ago. Incredible how far you've come, fair play doing unbelievably well for yourselves, great watch this!
I can't wait to visit Liverpool and watch them play one day.
I was at that match, the only time I have been to Anfield. Great memories.
What a comeback YNWA💪❗️
What a legend!!
We all dream of a team of carraghers
Luv this, stevie and carra were my childhood heroes, was lucky enough to meet jamie few year ago at event in Norwich and he's such a lovely chap in person too 👑23🔴
What a player , great watching him
Brilliantly put together.
I remember it well. The post match interview was hilarious. Nobody could work out what he was saying.
Great film. Best team after the Paisley era!
Legend 🔥
Great documentary, thanks
Class that lads
As much as I love virg, I do disagree, the guy was one of top three defenders for Liverpool in my thirty plus years of watching. Virg, Jamie and Sami 👍🏾
Virg answered that question with context though, that he wouldn't make the cut in the modern game of the high line and playing from the back which Carra himself admits isn't a style he likes or would play.
@@fromthefountofyouth no I agree that with this style of football carra would struggle as would many of the other top defenders of that era, but from Carraghers era he was one of the top defenders of the era
Such a cult hero in Liverpool FC history. Steven Gerrard may had armband, but Carragher was true voice & leader in 1996-2013 plus one man club member you don't get them kind of players again.
Even Stevie acknowledged that Carra was a great deal of help and support to him in the dressing room as his more aggressive style complemented his.
Carragher is a legend. I was lucky enough to be a mascot for the game against Tottenham in January 2010 and unfortunately Gerrard was out injured (as well as Torres, Johnson and Yossi). As a result Carragher was the captain and who I entered the pitch with. He was polite, but I could also tell he was dead focused on the game as it was a top 4 6-pointer at the time and we were in poor form having lost to Stoke the previous game.
Until van Dijk signed he was my favourite ever Liverpool CB and given how well he ended the 12/13 season, I’m always left thinking what could’ve been had he played on just one more season into the infamous 13/14 season
Top quality video here ❤
You haven’t had time to watch it lad
@@lukecorr728 err yes I did. I was impressed with the quality of the graphics and animation 2 mins in so I left a comment you sour grape
@@DannyWonder bro I was messing life ain’t that deep
Yh I know I was in a bad mood. All love my guy
@@DannyWonder I got you bro ❤️
All I can hear is 'Thomas was a really useful engine'
:Andy Townsend being a British player"? Didn't he play for Ireland?
@@TheBrianBurrows but he played for Ireland.
@@TheBrianBurrows so they have British passports sassenach?
@@TheBrianBurrows Irish passport thus Irish? Where was John Barnes born and Butcher? For example and yet they were English.
When he says Paul Joyce, does he mean Paul Joyce the now journalist? Or is that just someone else with the same name?
Druged up footballers
No point watching when you have to lay to watch the rest
He begged michael owen to stay and not leave for madrid. liverpool won the chamions league the next season.
Legend but that's goal celebration😶🌫️😶🌫️🤭🤭🤣🤣
Good that, well, apart from the voice-over who sounds like he makes a living reading fairy stories for kids on BBC Merseyside...If it was ya dah Jamie..sorry lad
Well, he did narrate Thomas the Tank Engine on TV!😂
"global star" lol bit of a stretch.
The narrator sounds like every 80s VHS football narrator ever 😲
Love this! We love ya, Jamie!
Do we have a doctor yet??
