@@sgoswami9205 change is very subjective...a person's response to a different environment is very unlikely to be similar atleast on the surface level but deep inside the plot being similar in both the series also has the almost same reaction on the part of the protagonist...however not identical in every aspect. I don't exactly know in what sense u are talking of change..so any further comment would be unnecessary.
But just like Sachiv ji,, srk's character has almost the same reaction on being put to a village like this...it is interesting to know that although both are similar on many context but not identical and hence the freshness. Sachiv's way of dealing with the complexities of a simple life of a village is not anyway less in any context.
Doordarshan was so nice back in those days. I miss such shows. Now I don't even watch TV.

I was watching this movie with my dad in 2023. And he told me that this movie was shown to them, when he was doing initial training in Oriental Bank of Commerce (Now merged with PNB) in 1990.
Its still shown in most of the induction training sessions for new joinees in PSB 's.
Iam also watching in September 10 mir night late at 2 am in 2023... Co incidence after watching his movie Jawaan which is India's ever great movie.. still sharukh khan shows every real story about corruption, poverty, politics, reality and pressure on farmers, extra.. his mentor to India but the present government is very enemies to him..
Who knew that this actor will be a billionaire and a long-lasting hero of Hindi Cinema. Shahrukh Khan is a self-made man; came to and thrived in the industry without any contacts or godfather, and has achieved everything he has today owing to his grit, determination, immense hard work, and off course, talent. May be one day we would see his biography, which details his struggles and moving up the ladder right from the bottom. An inspiring story it would make.
A SRK biopic in his lifetime would be awesome & make him even more money. I really hope he does that.

Shah Rukh khan was so simple back then. Worked in a meaningful film playing the role of an honest government officer who warded off the troubles of villagers and put an end to the corrupt system.
His movies like raju ben Gaya gentlemen .that film is also he acted as progressive engineer
I know right. Even i had the same thoughts whille watching this... Shahrukh Khan was so natural and the script is so simple yet beautiful ❤️ But in so many Bollywood movies SRK has done over acting... I think Bollywood Masala movies ruined him and he's forgotten his real essence of acting!

Ankur Chanda True.. i was surprised to know that there had been such kind of a show on a banker. There is no focus on a bankers life anywhere. These days its even more difficult than it has been shown here. Only a banker knows.
This serial so ahead of its time and progressive. If our govt makes such an arrangement to employ fresh bank employee, teacher, and medical professionals to serve rural areas for atleast one year, rural people won't migrate to urban places.....India will be sure economically independent. Better than US

Aaj mai Canada mai basta hu aur dunia ki sabse badi ad agency mai kaam kar chooka hu. I remember Shahrukh with Colonel KAPOOOR when he was working for Fauji TV serial. Naseeb Apna Apna. All the very b est to Shahrukh. Lekeen dosto koi aise hi itni bulandi per nahi pahooch jaata hai. Shahrukh ne bahut mehnat ki hai aur har chotey se chota kaam kiya hai wo Fauji kay doreaan script ki photo copies banana aur staff ko paani pilana sabhi kuch karta tha he was very down to earth and very humble aur ha sabse badi baat thi wo bado/elder ki izzat karta tha shayad apni Manzil ko paaney kay liye oosne apna sab kuch dedicate kar deta tha. I’m an old white woman in the USA who loves Shah Rukh beyond measure, as tho he were one of my sons. I wish I could understand whatever language is being spoken in this movie or that there were subtitles. Ni modo…..doesn’t matter. You can just watch him.
Yes, he’s always had a natural flair for acting which was compounded by his ability to relate to people and his intelligence.
I own and love most of his movies. I think My Name is Khan is an example of his finest acting. One of my favorite characteristics of mi hijo (a term of endearment meaning my son) in his movies is how he brings out the best acting of his heroines, all of them!
I have only two negative comments: Shah Rukh’s smoking terrifies me. I’ve heard he quit, but I don’t know for sure.
The other comment has to do with the entertainment industry and audiences. There’s way too much violence. Seeing so much violence inures people to violence, plus once the brain is stimulated by or excited in x level of violence, it gets habituated and requires more or worse violence in order to be equally stimulated. So much violence also programs people to have violence be a go-to option, just like seeing a commercial hundreds of times plants the seed of wanting or believing in that product.
I hope mi hijo will consider other films with healthier messages for society now that he’s made his comeback for audiences with Pathaan and Jawan after India let him down with Zero. Hopefully Shah Rukh has many more years of productivity to spread his love, compassion, example of what it means in real life to be a man, a husband, a dad, and more.
I love him so much and am so proud of him.
I also hope the nationalism in India, the racism and religion hatreds, the casteism die down and India finds her way to tolerance and genuine taking care of her millions of people.

*This is Reality.* And undoubtedly one of The best Short movie I've ever seen . Good movies were always there but people never Appreciated them commercially , watched Error 404 ! Not Found and it was one of the ground breaking movie of modern era but not many people abt it. Bollywood sends movies like Gullyboy which r already presented in Oscars from a long fuckin time , they care abt originality not abt the collection of a movie , another amazing movie with low budget is Kaun , almost every Anurag kashyap movie is a masterpiece . It took me some time to explain my friends abt Anurag's movie n now we never miss his movies in theatres , I really like dark humour or thriller movies .
A story near to me, when I joined bank & posted in rural area as Manager in 1989-90 at the age of 22 , in Himachal Pradesh.I'd faced the same situations many time, in remote villages & at banks head office politics. I witnessed this short movie in DD during 1989, this movie refreshed my memories though I left bank years later !!

This is a beautiful story. It took me back to those days when we only had channels like DD1 or DD metro. The stories in those days did carry certain ideals. Today you see Nagin, Saas bahu or vamp, Big boss.

STILL TRUE FOR BANKERS AFTER 30 YRS......
This is very much relatable to all the Government servants, be it Banking staff, Police, Electricity department employee and few other organisations as well.
Being an Electricity department employee, I have also feel the tremendous love, care and respect from the villagers of my initial posting.
Villagers respect you a lot, initial rural posting develops a person as an individual and allows him to be bold and practical but at the end every officer's desire is to be posted at their home district.
The kind of bond & respect shown at last is really hard to earn and the concerned officer will earn such respect only when he/she is honest, trustworthy.
I could still remember that I tends to be absent in any wedding or other invitation when I was at home prior getting job but hardly missed any invitation at the place of my rural posting, just because good food is also not easily accessible at remote areas.
The way SRK sir was drinking lassi reminds me of my way of drinking cold water.
Lots of good memories and obviously SRK sir deserves to be in top. He's acting is beyond the celing limit.

The movie touched the soul of a banker....after 30 yrs also .....same situation prevail....the only thing changed is the "happy ending" whereas currently bankers are murdered, they commit suicide, due to pressure of traget achievement and due to pressure of Loan Mafias....
