Well Stormtroopers used to be known as well trained soldiers. If you remember, in “a new hope” the stormtroopers absolutely destroyed the rebels on the ship. the reason they hit nothing today is due to plot armor in the first movies and that turned into a joke so that’s the reason they’re so disrespected today
the reason the storntroopers hit nothing in A New Hope was because Grand Moff Tarkin wanted them too. He planted a beacon on the falcon so the empire could find the rebel base.
@@Relte YES! Absolutely right!! Gads! I've been saying this for years to people, including SW fans, and they constantly jump on my ass and ridicule me for being an idiot. You should use a leftover snow trooper to make a custom character for the imaginary west. They could be like a wanderer of the snowy landscapes of somewhere where it snows. Also really awesome diorama you are probably my favourite youtuber! Edit: Thank you so much I've never got this many likes!
Never has a creator so consistently inspired me to try out my own ideas and projects. Yet again, another fantastic piece and a fantastic video, thank you!
"Next I seasoned the brownie with black pepper, oregano, and rosemary" 🤣🤣 As someone who loves both cooking and crafting, that made me laugh. Your videos contain the exact combination of humor, useful advice, and amazingly creative projects that I hope to include in the videos I'm about to upload. Another great video, Boylei. Thank you for sharing!
I love seeing “reasonably warm beans” in the patreon list, I think they’ve been there since I started watching, which was quite a long time ago, and it makes me smile every time
Another banger in the books. Those user submitted models were fire too. Personally my two favorite were the Sidious blasting Luke and the X-Wings flying in unison over water.
As always, just beautiful work. I did want to say too that Woodland Scenics snowflake is fantastic when used to make flowers easily too! I had some and dyed it with various Contrast Paint colours on my cutting matt before rolling them around in the paint and letting it all dry and then I could just PVA glue them to the tops of tufts by dunking the tufts in them and they worked really well! Saves having to buy like, ten different tuft sets to get a variety of colours!
It ain't a good Sunday till I have my coffee poured and my Boylei Hobby Time vid on the screen. You have managed to usurp my Bob Ross video w/ coffee on Sunday mornings ritual. Kudos!
I never thought about that waffer beyond just a cracker or something like that. Now you're going to force me to rewatch Return of the Jedi to see what I can decide on that. LOL Perfect way to celebrate Star Wars Day! Awesome display.
OK, I confess, I can't decide if I love the Star Wars or the Wild Imaginary West dioramas more. So both, yeah, both. A always excellent work, and I love the art challenge for your patrons, good stuff. CHEERS!
I’m both impressed and disappointed. I’m impressed by the skill you have, but disappointed that the Endor scene had no ewoks… Btw as to your wafer question, I would say savoury, like a rice cracker. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻❤️❤️❤️
This made me realize JUST how narrow the battles of Star Wars is, it’s either a chase, a chonepoint head-to-head, or a Grandiose Frontline Clash. No wonder everybody keeps dying, it’s just like WW1!
I could see the leftover minis working in your sci-Fi western diorama universe as an elite group of monster hunters geared for hunting in some extreme environments
Awesome video, awesome diorama(s). As an OG Star Wars fan and collector, these kinds of videos scratch so many itches. I've always wanted to/wished I could take the time and muster up the patience to tackle any sort of diorama. You tackled three different one at the same time! What the actual frack, dude?!? LOL!
I was today years old when I realized, that your intro of tools and such actually spells out “Boylei” - been watching your vids for over a year, but yet just noticed your intro - I told my wife and swiftly felt like and idiot 😂 we had a good laugh - cheers pal
May the force be with you. I always love your little dialogue between your figures haha. I always imagined the cracker as more of a rice type cracker for sure. Just something to give calories and last not something to taste good.
You could use the leftover Stormtroopers to make a 'behind the scenes' diorama, something in a locker room, or a canteen, just Stormtroopers being normal haha
Awesome video as always! I imagine since Leia lost her home world and dedicated herself to the rebellion that the wafer is some kind of military ration. Something easy to carry in the field while packing enough nutrients to keep you going on the front. No clue if it would be sweet or savory, however I will say modern MREs frequently include sweets because it is considered important for morale and I bet the same logic would be applied on battlefields long ago in a galaxy far away. Could go either way I think, but given the little tikes usually eat meat something sweet might be especially novel to an ewok, so I'll lean towards sweet.
With your leftover guys, you could have them back to back amid some snowy rocks, with a monster approaching them. Perhaps add a few lightsticks or flares in the landscape. BTW the Star Wars Wafers taste like either graham crackers or shortbread cookies.
Omg! I ALSO have a tiny plastic bag collection! Waiting for the day I meet a jewelry designer... or weed dealer I guess... so I can collaborate with them and they can use them for their product packaging. This will help us be more sustainable and I can sleep better at night.
Very cool! I must say, however, that the conversation between the stormtroopers and the rebels was rather distracting. Thank you for including it! Your patrons have built some beautiful dioramas; they're a talented bunch! And May the Fourth be with you!
1stly seeing the two best stormtroopers (snow and scout) that I ran around and pretended I was as a kid in one diorama is so cool, and I love that you did all three og movies. 2nd lay, I always thought the wafers were kinda like saltines or I guess like a shortbread cookie or sweatbread
This is a great idea for a diorama! Also, I enjoyed your story about playing in the snow as a kid. Growing up in the Colorado Rockies, my favorite time of year was winter, when I could put on my parka (and eventually goggles - the coolest part!) to brave the cold, wielding my lightsaber and blaster against imaginary wampas and snowtroopers. Thank you for reminding me!
For the leftover soldiers: Maybe they were fighting, but got stranded, and now have to work together to survive and fight off a large, nasty beastie of some description? Could be cool to see Rebels and Imps side-by-side, and you could scratch the giant monster itch as well.
I’d love to see a similar style diorama with Obi-Wan facing down against Maul, Grievous and Vader. Perhaps a three slice circular design with the generations of Obi back to back.
this looks really awesome! as good as the conversation between the storm troops and rebels was, I think that the only reason they ever hit anything in that scene was because Darth Vader just guided their shots. or maybe they were just trying extra hard to impress him.
I love going to hobby craft and can spend hours in there unfortunately my branch doesn't have much in the way of mini scenery :/ XD love the convo between the figures, (are non-essential characters like red-shirts on Star Trek ;) ) ace models BTW 👍
That conversation between the stormtroopers and rebels was hilarious, but seriously though, when stormtroopers want to hit something, they will
They addressed this in The Mandalorian series season 1. The troopers can't even shoot a tin can right in front of their bikes.
Seriously

Tantive I’ve…I literally laughed out loud. So much clever and funny narrative, and such a creative way to show these battles! Love this build Boylei!
*StarWars mega fans punching the air at this mispronunciation*
Me too. It's a 4.
Makes me wonder if the voice is artificial.
Yea, I thought it would be pronounced Tantive not Tantive but I could be wrong :/
Making 3 Star Wars battle scenes into one diorama is a very cool idea. Wonderful result mate 👏 👍
"Hands off Hobby Boy"
I about spit my drink all over my desk laughing at that. lol

Imagine if the Donner party had Wampas with them...
They could eat them! But wampas smell even worse on the inside...!
You should definitely use the extra troopers for a diorama where they find a wild monster and have to fight it like a mutant trex or giant dragon
@@jeffreyedgell3820 YES that would be so cool
Or a galactic marine

really ? 😅
Excellent as always, Boylei! And a hearty, "May the 4th be with You," to you and yours!
Such a great build, the endor one was my favourite! and everyone's dioramas were so good!
I love seeing “reasonably warm beans” in the patreon list, I think they’ve been there since I started watching, which was quite a long time ago, and it makes me smile every time
1:17 Tip from old timey architecture school - to subdivide a difficult number, tilt the ruler until you get to an easier number (like 21).
I waiting for your video every day 🎉🎉🎉🎉
Wow the humor was on point this week. Well done. Keep up the great work
Not only was this a great project, but all the Patrons did amazing as well. So fun!
Another banger in the books. Those user submitted models were fire too. Personally my two favorite were the Sidious blasting Luke and the X-Wings flying in unison over water.
This deserve to be in a museum, simply amazing. I can't wait for a video showing off all the dioramas as a colection!
Super Idee...super umgesetzt. Die guten alten Star Wars Filme 🎥. Fängt man direkt an zu träumen 👍
As always, just beautiful work.

This was the most therapeutic and relaxing thing to watch, thank you!
I find your videos very peaceful, they melt my stress away and make me very calm
Wow, this diorama is amazing! I love how you incorporated three scenes into one. The attention to detail is impressive. Great job!
The stormtroopers can aim bit while you were putting them in was hilarious
The Ewok that had the wafer off Leia said that he didn't like it, he said it was too 'Chewie'.. 😬🤣
It ain't a good Sunday till I have my coffee poured and my Boylei Hobby Time vid on the screen. You have managed to usurp my Bob Ross video w/ coffee on Sunday mornings ritual. Kudos!
Idky but the story of the video with the mod podge running out, then later mentioning that he “happened to have an empty container around” was gold.
I never thought about that waffer beyond just a cracker or something like that. Now you're going to force me to rewatch Return of the Jedi to see what I can decide on that. LOL

I always figured it was a cookie of some sort.
Omg the trooper conversation 😂
This is awesome
This guy probably puts on the best dnd campaigns.
The rebels and storm troopers arguing was way too funny. Amazing job on the diorama btw
Amazing as always! Thanks for the shout out you legend!
It looks awesome! I seriously can't express how much I anticipate these videos every week!
I’m both impressed and disappointed.
I’m impressed by the skill you have, but disappointed that the Endor scene had no ewoks…

👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻❤️❤️❤️
Wicket’s snack was definitely an animal cracker shaped like….something
Your so talented that the things you do are amazing keep following your dreams and never give up love your talent 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Awesome job as always! This is hands down my favourite build to date 😁
Always love to see what patrons come up with. So much creativity and talent. Hopefully i will enter my own project one day
I love the fact that you give the figures Little conversations in your video
This made me realize JUST how narrow the battles of Star Wars is, it’s either a chase, a chonepoint head-to-head, or a Grandiose Frontline Clash.
No wonder everybody keeps dying, it’s just like WW1!
Another great build. Thanks for what you do.
Awesome job!! The trees and foliage on Endor look amazing!!
Great ideas, good narrative, I enjoyed your presentation
Looks awesome. And the commentary was brilliantly funny
Thanks for the content Boylei! I wish i could be a patron. I cant wait for future content ✌️
I think the Wafers that the Ewoks eat are sweet. Thanks for all you do for us hobbyists.
I'm pretty sure that little wafer Carrie Fisher gave to the Ewok was just cocaine
i really liked how you showed the work of your patreons, very nice!

“Good shot, red two” hah! Great diorama! xoxo
It is also the best.
Vivid diorama video and editing
There is no shortage of any of them.
It looked really good.
Pretty much as awesome as always my friend. And May The 4th Be With You.

Amazing work. Very cool. The narration also brilliant and amusing
That came out really cool. Nice going. 👍🏼

This is just so cool. Amazing execution.
another masterpiece !! you dah boss. also: it's cool of you to give a little showcase of other peoples' dioramas. top man
I've always thought it was a cookie that Leia gave the Ewoks. They get too excited for it not to be a sweet!

So cool man, amazing job 👏👏
Great idea. Looks brilliant.
i love to see how they come out in the end
Love your videos keep up the amazing work

Would be cool to see the star wars characters as time travel soldiers facing a ancient civilization in a fight.
The leftover troopers would make an awesome dropship scene
ive always imagined the wafer as sort of a saltine cracker, like you might eat with soup or something
I’d love to see a similar style diorama with Obi-Wan facing down against Maul, Grievous and Vader.
