Met a lady at the Saratoga Inn in Langley WA, a Bobby Darin song was playing and when she heard I loved Bobby (first heard Mack circa 1959? I was 7) she said "Look up Chris Anderson on UA-cam." She played this on her phone and she and her husband and I sang along! I'm sorry to say I can't remember her name, she said she is a friend of Chris's mom. Fantastic video and voice! Bravo!
Chris you hit it right on the target . I can't stop singing and whistling this song now! I actually have a Bobby Darin album. Keep your dream kid you have IT and that 'IT' is talent!
Chris, You did an ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL job. I have been listening to it for I don't know how many years. Since I first found your version on UA-cam. I think Bobby Darin would be very proud. I'm sure he would and I'm sure he would love the video. Keep it going Chris. I hope to see you in concert one day. If you ever get to perform at the The Tivoli Theatre in Chattanooga, TN, please advertise it well, so I can be the first in line for tickets. With a face mask and socially distanced.
I love the Homage to the One & Only Bobby Darin! The clip is from possibly his Greatest Performance of "Mack" on The Andy Williams Show in 1970. Whilst Chris Anderson gives us a fantastic "Mack" It still belongs to Mr Walden Robert Cassotto.
I love this kid! like Michael Buble and Harry Connick Jr. bringing us great renditions of the music we already love; and yet he has a style that sets him apart. I love the subtle tones in his voice, a smooth cool cat like Gene Kelly. Congratz to you! and if I may request? "New York, New York" that is a very sexy song :)
Thank you so much!! My ultimate goal is always to do this music justice, and to always bring attention to how great the legends were. Their legacies living on means everything to me!
Geee....my favorite all time is Bobby Darin....start doing the shoulder thing as he did! You do an awesome sing...my favorite year Camaro too! Had one!
Dom the Bomb Thank you very much for the feedback!! Everything I do is done to bring attention and pay homage to the greats - Bobby Darin was an incomparable talent who gave us a version of Mack The Knife that could never be topped 🙌🏼
Very nice rendition. Excellent voice. From a perfectionist point-of-view: a) You didn't appear to be quite feeling the smiles you were showing, b) The cement bags weren't 'drooping on down', but dropping down.
Thank you so much, I appreciate the feedback!! I’ll have to double check to see if Bobby Darin said drooping or dropping. I probably used whatever he said on that line since his version is my favorite, but perhaps it was originally written as dropping in the Three Penny Opera. 🎶Let’s Call The Whole Thing Off🎶 😆
a) Not that it matters, but interestingly the original Bertold Brecht lyrics in German don't have any cement bags at all! b) You're exactly right, the Darin lyrics are 'droopin(g)'! Bad Pimpernel for not checking beforehand.
Ha! Didn't see the link on your IG page originally, so if you received a notification with my deleted post advising you to link it, please disregard. Anyway, you are very very talented and I look forward to seeing more from you! ♡
My mom's friend, Terry, loaned that red car to this person to make this music video. And, I'm not the person to lie ok? Please Belive me. It's my mom's friends car. -S.W

I'm Chris Anderson.
I do, but I also don't want to hear NIN's rendition of this song.................................................
Nice job, Chris, but Darin will always be "The Man" inre to this piece. Suggest you find another signature piece.
John Tiffany spoil sport. Bet you can't sing a note.
