Great review as the previous one I watched from you. You mention in this video that you can now connect to the Tesla charging network. And while that’s true, viewers considering the Mach-E purchase should not that’s not totally accurate. It would be worth mentioning that doing so could require a charging adapter as the Mach-E only has a J1772 (AC Level 2) and CCS (DC Fast Charging) charging port and many Tesla charging stations only use NACS charging connectors. So if the Tesla charger has the NACS connector, you will need an adapter. The Ford NACS to CCS charging adapter is many months backordered but can be purchased. Other 3rd party adapters like the A2Z Typhoon Pro adapter can be purchased and is not back ordered to my knowledge. Also, there is a different charging adapter needed for Tesla’s Level 2 home/hotel style “destination charger”. Ford does not make an NACS to J1772 level 2 charging adapter so you would need something like the A2Z Stellar adapter.
@delsk, Thank you for the info. Yes the adapters are needed for sure. I believe for the 2025 Mach E's and other electric models, Ford is directly putting the NACS connector to make it easier for the Tesla charging network but will see what Ford does or if it implements it. Thank you for watching!
My exact car with same specs! I love it!!!!
Love it too! That torque is very addicting..
Great review Peter. Keep up the great reviews
Thank you for watching !
