It's nice having a pretty house from a better builders blueprint, but most of the time you have to figure out how to work in pumps and purifiers on your own (tough, since personally, I'm copying 'cause I'm not confident in my creative skills) and end up with something that looks like what it is: lots of out of place objects. If before putting up the small walls, put a barandilla and put the wall inside the barandilla, you fall on the wood of the barandilla on top of a small wall, it's a detail that falls very beautifully.
Love this one. After building my current cave base, I have been thinking about how I wanted to go smaller and more compact (similar to how the cave one is, just not forum around natural rock of course) in an open, just nice cabin or small modern home.

The flooring in that bedroom appears unfinished because we use the Low Narrow Step and it leaves a small gap on the left side and just we cover it with a wall.
@@azzel83 completely see and get that one! I like that gap. But at the time stamp given there is that seam between the full floors and the quarter floors. However in your player tour. It doesn’t seem to actually be there.
13:38 how did you get the ceilings in place? They wont snap properly or when I use the small premium wood squares there is one spot specifically next to the left stair that the game refuses to let me build.

How did you place the wood wall II on top of the small concrete half walls at 7:49 Whenever I try to place the wood wall it always tries to place the wall diagonally
The recent update has made construction frustrating, particularly when placing a wall above a small half-wall, results in the wall being slanted or diagonal. We have already reported this issue and hope for a fix as soon as possible.
I use the Almond Yellow Wall from the Kitty's Whisper bundle, which is available in the in-game shop, and then add the Light Cement Pattern for a subtle gray accent at the front.

I LOVE this house, but the seam in the bedroom was driving me crazy, so I went to extreme lengths to get rid of it. The bedroom is now exactly the same, but with no seams!! 🥲😅

This is because the appearance of all Concrete Type Structures has been updated, and this video is somewhat outdated. Most walls now feature concrete on one side and black or colored metal on the other, which is why a 'small concrete wall' with concrete on both side no longer exists.
Pretty but I just want a base that has the smallest footprint. And still functions. I want to be able to place it on any terrain without issue. Still struggling to find the right ratio that would include a garage and planter areas..
@@HaleftHaut It's a learned skill, I get better from trying and seeing things other people do, learning how to manipulate the pieces we get better for a good look. I bet staring at my space waiting for it to speak to me, and something to develop from it.
How did you get the storage bins in the 1x1 hole in the outside workshop? I have a similar area but for the life of me I can not get 2 side by side in there
It seems my cable management appears to be on point-take another look at the introduction and player tour, and you'll notice how neatly the wires are organized. As for the garage, you can replace the mini pool on the front terrace into a garage instead.
@@azzel83 would love if you could point out some of your wire management in future videos! that's one of my biggest struggles is trying to make them blend in the background more. LOVE this design, might play with some ideas you gave me.

I mean, you can. If you find house you like you can press B -> Blueprints and save it. Yes you can copy other people builds.

I was able to do it by temporarily using small square ceilings on the border of the walls, that let me put the walls nice and square

In the recent update, they fixed the marble concrete structures. The small square wall now has black on one side and white on the other.

To prevent excessive height increases, turn off Grid Snap by pressing ‘Caps Lock’.

wood walls II are from shop?
The structure I used is a Wood, but I put Glass print on it. You can purchase glass pack in the ingame shop.

Major problem for me is I do not own that glass pack.
If you don't have a glass structure, you can temporarily use a window frame. It still captures the essence of the house, so there's no need to worry.

You can lower each floor by adjusting it's height. Simply press Alt key and use the mouse scroll wheel to adjust its height.
@azzel83 I tried that but it doesn't seem to let me make the small adjustments like you did. Thoughts?
You should turn off the Grid Snap by pressign 'Capslock' key to avoid excessive height adjustments.
