i have a question!🤗 do u bake or prebake your cabochons before u add the details? i see with this one that you were able to poke a hole.. sorry i have only watched the beginning lol i will watch the rest in case it shows ty!
how do u get the clay not as sticky i cant touch my clay to flatten it to a dota insted of a ball with out it sticking to me and getting messed ul when i try to pull it away is there a trick to make it less sticky or just skill tbat comes with time thank you also for showing ur work its made it so much easier to learn as i try to build a career after the lay offs thank you for your time have a great day
In this tutorial I use just Fimo Professional Polymer Clay, but in some of my tutorials I am mixing it with liquid polymer clay ( when I want to make like painting effects). 🙂❤️
I can't get over how tiny you work. The amount of clay you use is in stark contrast with what some cane makers use, lol. I think i'd get frustrated or something. Your results are quite exquisite though so it's obviously worth your effort.
@@StoriesMadeByHands I must say, i dislike sewing & have absolutely no interest in embroidery, no matter how beautiful it is, so i would much rather do it with clay than thread, lol.
Thank you. I am using Fimo polymer clay, I find it works best for me in my work with polymer clay. Everyone is asking how I am making background so smooth, so I hope I will show in some of my tutorials in future. 🤗❤️

No, in the end I am baking everything together including metal parts too. Like this the details will stuck better with background. 🤗❤️

I don't know which brand of polymer clay you use. I am using Fimo Polymer Clay and it is not that much sticky, maybe this is the reason. 🤔
I love your work and that you share your technique. 😊 Do you mix anything with your Fimo to make it creamier? Thank you!

your workmanship is STUNNING!!!!! do you varnish them after? or seal them in any way?
Thank you. ❤️🤗 No, I just press them well with my fingers before baking, so they stuck with background. 🙂

Hehe thank you so much. Yes, it takes a lot of time but the end result can be very beautiful. ❤️❤️

I get from some local stores in my country, but I think you can also find on Etsy just type "round locket jewelry findings" or "round photo locket". 🙂
