WORLD STONE SKIMMING CHAMPIONSHIP 2024

This week's vlog is from the World Stone Skimming Championships on Easdale Island on the west coast of Scotland.
There were 375 entrants from all over the world and i finished a respectful 66th.
I also fit in a wild swim, a stop at the bridge over the Atlantic and a visit to the famous green seafood shack in Oban.

Absolutely loved this vlog mate. One of the best so far. The footage of the bridge over the Atlantic and the castle at loch awe was excellent. They scallops in Oban 🤤🤤 some more practice required for the stone skimming 😉

What gets the highest score in skimming, is it just the number of hops or does the distance count ?

@ianhe-kensken9303 it's overall distance, there has to be a minimum of two skips but beyond this they don't matter. You get three throws and the total distance is your score
