How do you know how much CaCl to add to the water? Is there a calculator to determine the right mix ratio for a given temperature?
Hi. How much calcium do you use. It’s in bags and you mix with water?
Very nice though out job.
Don’t tires with calcium I had to replace rims on 2 of my tractors because they rotted out it costed me 2500 bucks
The tire has to have a tube in it to do this properly. It prevents the rims from rusting out.
Where did you get the Calcium
Would this make your driving around rough?
What ratio did you use calcium to water.
So far so good?
have your rims rusted through yet?
Denk Doink no i make sure to repair any leaks and clean and primer the inside of rims whenever i do work on tires. Good tubes with no leaks, no rust
Denk Doink ... Lol ... My tractors a '56 ... Wheels are fine with calcium
New rims only $140 so not the end of the world If it rusts out. Finally changing mine out at 61 years of service
@@sailingyemaya9781 $140 in the US maybe, here in Canada $325!
How did you figure out how much volume you needed? Or did you completely fill the tires?
Craig Fisher i found charts on line that gave me a rough idea. i then filled tires to the 11 or 1 o'clock position. i dedicated a large tote for calcium so i just stored the extra
my 13.6 x 28 takes 36 gal.
What does the calcium do, what's it for?
According to Mustie1, it helps rust out your rims. Also I think i've heard that it increases the weight.
Good 'ol Mustie! 🙂
