But he lives a long and happy life with all of the friends he's made. I mean, in Nier: Automata we get to see Emil's Determination and it makes his Replicant story line seem a little less dark by comparison. Like void is slightly less dark than a singularity.

Funnily enough, if you get the free DLC, he can wear 9S's outfit. And in Automata you can unlock his outfit for 9S. These guys knew what they were doing.

In the new ending of replicant, the two kids you fight are the original automata. They take the data of both nier and kainé(As well as their memories) to make their automata stronger.
Well I don't know, I played both Nier and Nier: Automata, and the reason why I only beat the first one once was because the bint was so incredibly abrasive, it felt an oscillating cheese grater was strapped to my ear. At least with Automata, it felt like the characters were a bit more likeable and the ones I didn't like were strapped to the side stuff I didn't have to do. My personal favorites in that one was Pascal and the robot with the pink bow(wore that sucker for the remainder of the game whenever I played 2B.)
@@janterri3539 not necessarily. Protagonists are not similar at all. 9S is all about descending into madness from losing all that matters to him, and nobody does that in replicant. Kaines story is essentially a love story that's about her loving the Protagonist because he treated her differently, while 9S and 2B love story is born from loneliness and desire for someone to give them reason to live. What im trying to say is kaine and brother NieRs love story is a romance. While 2B and 9S love story is a tragedy. Then there's emil and A2 who I haven't mentioned, but those 2 aren't Similar to each other, or the other characters. A2 is based on kaine, but A2 doesn't seek companionship or love. So these games characters are very different from each other, and the love storys themselves are polar opposites of being tragedy vs romance.
The Red Bag Couple’s story was heartbreaking. Adds more pain when you did “The Promised Quest” Also the first delivery quest had me going back to the client five times. What a nightmare
Barely playable. I love the game, but after the second play through it’s a pain. 3rd play through doesn’t have new cutscenes and you have to focus on getting all weapons, which could be really tedious (especially the infamous Damaged Treasure Map quest).
@@Aliens1337 I have finished almost all side quests in my first playthrough though and by the second playthrough I already got every weapon. The only problem I have is maxing out 33 weapons for the trophy
Automata also did have an easy mode and even plug in chips (passive abilities) you can equip and let the game play itself which I honestly think no one probably used
on the one hand, young brother nier's outfit was available as DLC for 9S in automata. on the other, I lost it when he called older brother nier as "14XL"

Played the dad version when I was a kid. I had no f*cking clue what I was getting into on my second playthrough. I have, to this day, not played a game any sadder and I only did the second run instead of all 100. That game made me cry and I am so excited to play the new one.
@@jemiebridges3197 I bought the game for $60 and enjoyed it so much that when they announced another run of the $200 special edition that comes with the soundtrack, I bought it, and I was only midway through the second playthrough at that point. There's a lot of grinding and backtracking, but once you can ride boars and get a certain weapon, that's not so bad. The big story beats were worth the grind, and the fighting is actually fun in this version.

yup, I've bought it as soon as preorder was available (my first preorder ever). I have in on my drive since the premiere, but when I started the game and Snow in Summer started playing my PTSD from constant crying 10 years ago kicked in. Maybe one day I'll be ready for THE FEELS®, I just have to wait a little longer than 10 years

It's like this; ALL the side quests have enjoyable writing and dialogue, but the quests themselves are repetitive grinds... likely intentionally so, if I had to guess.
That feeling when you can't watch that vid out of fear for spoilers, even though you pre ordered the game on steam but spent almpst all your time doing sidequests, which is why you're still at the beginning of the second half.... But hey, maxed out fishing and got a garden full of lunar tears
Still one of the best games and series this life has created. If you are a true gamer you will play and if ya have a brain of any kind of gamer will understand the 10 out of 5 star beauty
Honestly, at least they give an in-universe explanation for why you have _so many side-quests._ And people giving the quests comment on it. Doesn’t excuse the existence of _that_ quest line, but at least there’s a reason it’s _you_ doing it.
It doesn't take that long to travel in this game and you start dashing after running for a few seconds which makes the package quests super fast. All you have to do is avoid enemies or at least attack from afar. The boar riding makes traveling even faster.
The original now is always called a cult classic. But basically nobody had heard of it back in the day. People only know of the neir series because automata was very popular. And honestly this remake is so much better than the original its kind of its own thing even if the maps and story is the same.
This video reminded me that I had planted flowers just before I got covid to get a lunar tear. They would all be ruined by now. I am gonna hav to redo so much of the work😭

The original REALLY isn't that bad. I wouldn't even call it bad, just uninspired with the combat.
Alien There is new cutscenes on the 3rd playthrough with devola , popola, emil and in the new mermaid chapter.

NieR replicant was quite literally a storytelling masterpiece. It had a few flaws gameplay wise, but the story is an absolute marvel.
It doesn't take that long to travel in this game and you start dashing after running for a few seconds which makes the package quests super fast. All you have to do is avoid enemies or at least attack from afar. The boar riding makes traveling even faster.
The original now is always called a cult classic. But basically nobody had heard of it back in the day. People only know of the neir series because automata was very popular. And honestly this remake is so much better than the original its kind of its own thing even if the maps and story is the same.
