It's possible it might be another port in Sumeru that travels to Fontaine
After all, there are Sumeru ships near the port of Fontaine
i believe i recall an npc mentioning a “bayda harbor” in sumeru at some point
Yeah, Augustus mentioned it in 3.8 WQ, the northern Sumeru port. If i had to guess, the tree might be a placeholder and the port itself is gonna look more like Ormos, inside of tree trunks or surrounded by them
@@shadycactus6146 yep! exactly where I imagined it would be based on the descriptions from the Fontainian traveller
Ah, i see, of course it will also be built on the tree.
@@spieds9994Bayda means Desert so it's more likely to be north of Hadramaveth Desert
It is interesting to me that Fontaine most likely would add more regions to other nations which we did not see happen with previous nations like Sumeru and Inazuma
We got chasm ! :)
@@thea6482 that's true. The minor difference tho is that is was added before Sumeru so technically they did not go back to a nation like we might see with Fontaine.
Well dragonspine is Mondstadt territory but was released after Liyue
@@Schwibzik oh yeah how did I forget about Dragonspine. The sheer cold still gives me anxiety 🥶
It makes sense since it's the middle of the map that connects to every other nation. It was clearly their plan to always fill out the map after they released fontaine.

How about we Explore this Area later?
How about we explore the area ahead of us later?
i commented the same thing last time 😂
@@NyammymybelovedHow about we explore this area latur
How about we explore the area ahead us later?😄👍
the reason the tree is so big is just to create a more convincing backdrop when you look into the distance. Same goes to bridge
there are speculations saying it's gonna be part of a quest where we'll 'heal' the tree
@@bruh-zn8ju its not speculation, its a wild fantasy. We healed enough trees already.
@@AmelpsXett healing trees means rewards. devs are kinda lazy. it'd be better if idk it's like a abyss-tree where you enter to its roots and instead of collecting symbols and that stuff you fight until you reach the limit of level 50 which is practically another floor of spiral abyss.
I REALLY hope that the area beneath Celestia is that deep and we can actually swim down there to find some sort of ancient city that's fully bioluminescent. The areas in Fontaine right now don't have any depth and are very bright, hopefully they add some variety soon
Big hole to Khaenriah
They did this specifically to prevent thalassophobia, so I doubt it
there IS word that celestia is actually over a large bottomless lake, but who knows if they'll change that by the time we get there! :P
They did purposely made it Bright as mentioned in Fontaine Livestream. Watch it for more info of why.
I WOULD LOVE A BIOLUMINESCENT AREA TO EXPLORE!!! that would be amazing
The north of sumeru you explored was mentioned in the aranara quest, and a port called baydha port exists there which takes you from sumeru to romaritime harbor in Fontaine and vice versa
What did the aranara mention
@@MiyuKawasaki I don’t remember the exact words/details but it’s about the water in the lake there being clear and beautiful and guess what? The north of sumeru does indeed have a lake that we still can’t access
In Layla's hangout, she talks about her route to the city and comes from the direction of the mushroom area, implying her village is north of there. There's also a cave inside the underground part there (quest related area if I recall) that could also lead to another Sumeru area.
2:00 I think this might be Bayda Harbor, as an NPC in Sumeru says "I could have come directly to Sumeru from Fontaine... after all, there's a line going straight to the Bayda Harbor in Sumeru"
I wonder if the black grass textures are meant to be something for Mare Jivari? I can't wait for that area to come out tbh
That location's located in Natlan, no?
@@ZydeKun All we know about it is that it's near the desert and opposite to Mondstadt, however it could be near Natlan. We don't have any concrete locations yet
I was thinking it might also be a WIP Texture for the Black Sand Beaches that were mentioned in the leaked Concept Map from forever ago.
i also thought that!!
no it's probs smth there for no reason. they won't put hints to future locations in places where u cant see normally w/o glitching.
gosh I would love a video now comparing that place to now since it came out
I *think* that the bridge at 4:36 is actually still there, and is now the bridge underneath/across Mt Xuanlian! It may just be a coincidence and not exactly line up, but it is neat.
@@toastedbread5985 true, I love how things evolved
I wanna come back to these videos after the whole map is out so we could see what was missed in these areas and what was spot on about them. it's gonna be neat :)
Well, the are came out yesterday. So, what was missed in those areas and what was spot on?
@@atree1739 I'm still exploring the area we'll find out!
Use this list to compare locations from the video if you'd like. There are no set locations for these but they are located in regions we currently have available.
Bayda Harbour (Sumeru) - appears to connect with Fontaine
Chenyu Vale, Qiaoying Village, Yilong Port (Liyue) - the tea and jade expansion of Liyue
Dornman port (Mondstadt) - somewhere north, apparently
Lumidouce Harbour, Mont Esus (Fontaine) - visible/referenced from in-bounds
Petrichor (Fontaine) - who knows?
The only thing is that dorman port lies north east of mondstat
I think Dornman port will be to the west of Mondstadt to connect with fontaine
And Yilong port has been renamed to Yilong wharf unless they are two seperate locations like Stormbearer Mountains and Stormbearer Point
Yilong Port and Yilong Wharf are the same place, localised differently. It is listed so on the wiki.
@@emanatingauras4017 It's not listed as that, we'd need to know if the chinese name for port and wharf is the same
@@MiyuKawasaki I am chinese. I crosschecked, they are the same.
It's amazing how much bigger the game is outside the Paimon barrier, albeit, unpolished.
bless the mobile players
From lore and leaks, each of the five nations have at least one harbour on the interior sea: seemingly Dornman port in Mondstradt, Yilong port in Liyue, a yet-to-be-named port in northern Sumeru, Romaritime and Lumidouce ports in Fontaine
What is with hoyo fetish of unexplorable ports
Lumidouce port has boats that look like they’re from liyue/ possibly natlan, so I do think the boats are from yilong port
Bayda Harbor in Sumeru
hey guys here from the future the answer is yes
nice to see the predictions but man, when they said Qiaoying village was at north of Liyue, they werent joking lol
I mean where else could it be? It's pretty obvious already.
My anxiety of breaking the game mixed with my raging adhd and low attention span could NEVER dare to try anything like this..like the time and effort you put into all this is so respectable :0 thanks for making this series(?) for us!
I explored out of bounds instead of doing years of content (I'm still not finished Inazuma - but I'm pretty close tho).
90 minutes character quests or 4 hours of exploring empty space? I picked the second
@@asdbanz316hey, you picked the choice that you can't do now, I think you chose well.
Please find a way to the giant metal boat in the undergrounds of the Fortress of Meropide which Wriothesley shows us behind a glass in the latest main quests!
I'm.pretty sure it's a 3d Image slapped onto the window
@@Tophat-Turtle
I thought it might be too, but after using Zhongli glitch to get OOB, it's definitely real.
I couldn't find a way to reach it though, there's a TON of spots that teleport you back, and the whole boat is protected by an aggressive invisible wall on all sides, even above.
Why I feel like I visited a similar area already while collecting stars for Mr Judge
@@Tophat-Turtleit's not because there are parallax effects when you jump around strafe; its similar to the windows of Jean's office where there really are models out there. But I imagine they're low poly and are optimized for your limited point of view.
Just wait till 4.2, we probably get to go in it.
I love these videos so much because once the areas get released I get that “wow” effect of how good it looks vs this ❤️
Thanks again for exploring “un accessible” Teyvat for us!
Part of the northern coast of Sumeru is probably Bayda Harbor, Sumeru’s northern port to Fontaine. It was first mentioned in a world quest that was added in 3.8 that mentioned the locations of several new places.
That big tree could be where Bayda Harbor is because Port Ormos also has large trees. My other thought is that it could be related to Viaghara, the “true tiger” that the Rishboland tigers are named after. He was the Lord of the Forest, friend of the Aranara, and the lord the Viridescent Venerer served under.
Bayda harbor means desert harbor, so it will be in the desert
Yes, add the dendro tiger to that area too, the only one missing from the consecrated gang
@@MagiYellow why is it missing
@@MiyuKawasaki what I mean is out of five consecrated beasts, they haven't added the tiger to the open world
@@MagiYellow they did, it's at tunigi hollow
I was hoping you would show us on the map exactly where celestia is located.
u can kinda pinpoint it yourself with a ruler or any other straight object and setting a few pins looking from each region until u got the right spot on the map. Did it sometime last year after chasm release and only had to adjust it once after sumeru's desert came out
I hope they pad out empty areas with Liyue and Monstadt because compared to Sumeru, it's very tiny
Do you know if they keep event-only locations below the map somewhere? Like would it be possible to find the golden apple archipelago or is it entirely taken out of the map after the patch?
I think they patch them out bc it would just be unnecesarry and could lead to lags when there are just idk 3 big extra maps somewhere
@@4shTheBel0ved Wouldnt lead to lag since its not getting loaded in. It would just take up extra space unnecessarily in a game that already has a large file size.
Wouldn't it be more reasonable to be it's own space like domains and building interiors. Not a part of the map, loaded separately while the overworld is deloaded.
But yeah, these one time event locations probably get deleted so your game doesn't bloat in size any more than it has to with regular map expansion and updates.
One of the main reasons that keep me on this game, is the curiosity of how the map will be in the future...
A sumeru NPC mentions that bayda harbor connects Fontaine and sumeru!
This video just a "hey i've been there!" moment for me now 😅
I miss this bug already, i still havent explored West of Fontaine
Glad I'm maintaining a disposable TP waypoint on the ceiling of Nice To Meet You. The Fontaine bugs were hilarious, exploring underground was pretty fun; the bugs are still understandable though, it's a new area.
Sumeru area is huge like there was 30 big ancient cities back in post-Deshret's heyday (cities that rise after Gurabad's fall), and there were also a whole coasts of pirate islands with its big pirate city somewhere on the ocean beyond the south of Sumeru. So I assumed the mysterious area would probably part of one of those mysterious cities. Like others said, that could also be the Bayda harbor that connects Fontaine and Sumeru via waters inland, so Chenyu Vale and Yilong should be somewhere more upward as few NPCs that go through there eventually passes Qingze village and stone gate like in your 2nd guess.
Anyway awesome video and thank you for sharing your exploration! It's unfortunate it's already patched since they actually updated Mondstadt's northern areas, making me think we might get an update to Dornman Port sometime in 4.x. Would be interesting to see you visit there but alas 😢
Anyway not showing on the map where Celestia is? XD
thats probably the reason why there is so many coastal areas in Sumeru still left unfinished.
About that random bridge at around 5 min mark. Its probably here because its close to paimon barrier - aka can be visible without going out of borders, which could just be here as background decoration so those mountains dont look so... dull
I was thinking a sample bridge for the devs to copy?
Oh I almost forgot, have you investigated the fountain in the city of Fontaine, when you use elemental sight it lights up like the stairs to fortress of meropide
The area above Sumeru and below Fontaine is most likely going to be Bayda Harbor.
good old paimon is feeling offended for ignoring her saying “HOW ABOUT WE EXPLORE THE AREA AHEAD OF US LATER~”
no way have i been sitting here hoping to see this and when i refresh its here!!! I love your exploration videos :D
I did this glitch and it feels cool to recognize some of the locations
What you marked as Yilong Wharf the first time is actual what I think is a better location for Sumeru's northern port Bayda Harbor.
I think your farther north placement is much more accurate.
Is there a way to submit footage to you? I have stuff I'm afraid to put on my main channel. No credit needed, I just want people to see the sand of death i encounterd

could you give it a try to check if the ship from the archon quest does exist?
it looked like as it might be a hidden map
hes working on it already
As a game dev, it's most likely a 3d texture mesh applied on the window, unless the gamedevs are real weird
@@Tophat-Turtleconsidering this ship most likely will be an important part of archon quest Im not sure about. Moreover it will probably even have a collision (but thats just my opinion Im not a game dev and dont know how it works, maybe you are right)
What ship?
@@danstern102 its shown in the 4.1 archon quest
2:00 is probably part of the future Bayda Harbor expansion (prob a mixture of forest and desert or maybe the desert portion)
3:45 is probably part of Chenyu Vale.. I feel like it's a bit more of a lengthwise suberegion tbh probably reaching the borders of Qingce. I wouldn't be surprised if Yilong Port is closer there. So I kinda agree with your 4:04 guesswork, but with Qiaoying and Yilong swapped
EDIT: When I was exploring the side of Lumidouce Harbor before 4.1, I also noticed the low poly mountain ranges. That might be Mount Yaojun
U are so right
thanks moosashi! more exploration out of bounds!
gosh i forget how much thought and love genshin puts in developing the lore and map of the game
great video!!! glad you were able to get some footage before the glitch was patched
I really wish, we get to see every (currently) out of bounds Place there is
I really love your videos man their really unique in my opinion
Changsheng also mentions "Mt. Yaojun". Buuuuut yep. Nobody talks about it at all. *Here'goes.*
This gave me pokemon scarlet and violet flashbacks
Damm I was really curious about this place, thank you for making a video on this!
i’d love if you could find a way to see Wriothesley’s ship which we see in the Archon quest!! it would be super neat to get an up close view of it!
so, i walked everywhere i could in 4.0. i hit the north, east, and west and south world walls. the ones that will cause instantaneous demolecularization. as ar25, with 200k exp, i lake the challenge. i marked some spots of interest in natlan, and the area this video covers also. the south IDMP(instantaneous demolecularization plane) was only accessible to me by walking around the watatsumi island, and doing a 600m vertical climb after walking from the mainland. it is about 200m due south of the barriar, south of tsurumi island. i found the way MHY "fixed" this bug, was very clever. thankfully bibo is still my best friend, and walls still mostly only exist from one side. i keep a waypont just outside of Ann's house too. worth it.
great job as always mu.
keep up the good work!!!
ad astra travelers!
nice, Korepi just updated and new content for you 😍😍
Thanks for your video I already explored this area and yea I do believe that would be it. Although there's just A LOT of Sumeru rainforest area before we hit the water. I could expect another expansion (cuz we heard of Bayda Harbor) but I don't know if it would be that big
I marked the location of Celestia in my map which was very hard to spot from bottom in the lowest graphics setting in last patch
This dude is a living legend. He has gone above and beyond.
Man has literally been above and below Celestia
We know of the port known as Byda Harbor in Sumeru that many people take to go to and from Fontaine. You should also be able to reach Chenyu Bale from it. Where you placed Yilong Wharf is likely in the area of Byda Harbor. (Byda harbor is mentioned by the Fontaine NPC in Sumeru city who stands by the docks)
I was gonna see if out of bounds still worked in 4.1 and go out there again, but you answered my question.
I still need to map north of Fontaine though. I'm mapping Fontaine's plate size, and last time the northern part had a death barrier, and by death I mean my character would disappear and I'd have to relog.
Thanks for the video, Moosashi.
It still works, but method to activate it is changed a bit

Moosashi, you’re absolutely great! Maybe you could try to get close to Celestia now that there are more textures added to it? At least I definitely can see the towers more defined than before
How caan you see towers more defined if it's so far away and still as small as it was in like 3.x
@@todaru yeah, it was changed from 2d to 3d in I think 2.8 or 3.0? I can't quite remember but it was one of that version. I think the island in the sky is fake celestia created by the gods to just tell everyone "we're spectating you" while the real Celestia is above Venti's statue in Mondstatd? Just a theory.
To my knowledge, it's the same 3D model that was released in 3.0. What's shown in that video where I walked there should still be accurate.
@@Moosashi is it still as small when you go near it?
I didn't expect u could actually walk across that

This was an incredible video 💙
the extra sumeru area is bayda harbor, mentioned with abunch of other harbors and locations including natlan in 3.8

moosashi upload.. the day is good
That place is too close to Celestia and I'm craving 4 cheeses pasta right now. This is not a coincidence .
Oh yeah. I was really curious about this specific region
lets come back in this video in 2 years
I have seen a probable full map of teyvat some time ago and there was a place called "black castle" and "black beach". So maybe it's actually meant literally. Or it'll never even exist, who knows.
Probably fan made
@aliwi3476 nah it was the Beta test map and so far it's matched up with what we got
I think it would make more sense if Mondadt's Dorman Port was west of Storm Terror's Lair primarily because we know that Natlan is to the North, there's no port on the east and Liyue is to the South. The only place for Dorman Port to be located where it makes sense is to the west of Storm Terror's Lair which also explains the fully built second exit west of the location its the only possible reason to have a second built gate for Storm Terror's Lair there.
Natlan is West of fontaine, not north
3:01 Cider Lake has been blocked accidentally by Klee, which led to its water level rising. You can see how it looked before that on the map in Jean's office
So some 5 year old changed a whole lake around a city?😅
I've had more characters killed by Paimon running me off a cliff than any single enemy
There is a "Bayda port" mentioned in a sumeru world quest. This could be the area north of Sumeru you see.
There is supposed to be another Sumeru harbor, Bayda Harbor, that leads directly from Sumeru (meaning the rainforest) to Fontaine, so I guess it's the place you found directly above the rainforest opposite to the second Fontaine harbor you explored in your first out-of-Paimon-barrier video.
As a consequence, Chenyu Vale should be more to the right, also because it's part of Liyue, so it couldn't make a lot of sense if it extended so far out above Sumeru.
For the huge tree, we know that there is one in Qiaoying Village (or in Chenyu Vale in general) that was later grafted on other trees across the river. It's should be the tea tree from Echoes of an Offering.
As for the bridge connecting the two rock formations.... I suppose that part of the map is going to be changed at some point, so it will connect actually something.
Anyway, I think Chenyu Vale should actually be around that island surrounded by a lake with those spikes in the water, because people get to Qingce Village straight from Chenyu Vale, so it should be around there.
Ahh~ the void- how beautiful
Your video makes perfect sense and kinda confirms that the Vale is there indeed. It seems Hoyo is doing a "reverse Chasm" method now, sticking a new region between the other three existing ones. For those wondering what I'm talking about. If you have been wandering about the outskirts of the Chasm, you can clearly see they had to blend Liyue and Sumeru somehow.
Also, lore-wise, the Vale can be accessed by two ports in Fontaine and one in Sumeru. I don't think it mentions any ports in Liyue since most of the characters who talk about visiting it seem to just have walked there from Liyue.
I’m convinced that the area hosts ports that connects all of Tevyat except maybe Inazuma (due to its location being isolated)
Ports in Fontaine has Ships from Liyue and Sumeru which is an evidence that Sumeru and Liyue has ports in the North and also the yet-to-be released Mondstat’s Dornman Port could also be in that region. It would be interesting to see how future updates would implement those ports since the current maps lacks any roadways connecting to anything in the north,
Bayda port is a port in Sumeru that connects it to Fontaine
That Xiao with a one star weapon is mildly threatening
i'd want to see an update to Mondstadt's map at some point. The region is just getting forgotten at this point.
Due to the most recent update I believe that is where Natlan is. They added another harbor leading into that area and there is a road into that area from sumeru Mawtiyima forest that leads to unfinished land. Not to mention it cant be sneznyaya because it was said to be above mondstadt.
7:21 there are 3 similar white splats like this between liyue harbor and dragonspine back when you could clip through the water in the harbor in like, 1.5? 1.6? I'm guessing it's exactly like ink and they use it for coloring the different parts of the map
8:53 exactly like those!
Ah, you mean those three perfect circles of snow? I remember coming across those when I first got beneath the oceans of Teyvat. It's such a weird thing, because I believe you can see them from above the water, too.
Only thing I can think of is some developer was testing something for Dragonspine's upcoming release, because those snow spots have been there since 1.0, I believe.
@@Moosashi yup that's what i was thinking of too
there's bayda harbor for sumeru
chenyu vale and blackcliff forge for liyue and dandelion sea and dornman port for mondstadt
the way the map is shaped so far gives me ocd attacks
Other than the port in the North of Sumeru, the only other named location I can think of is the Mare Jivari, but I'm fairly certain that's actually inside a domain, so it's not really relevant in this case.
Also, I think probably your second guess for the locations of those two towns is more likely imo, because that leaves more room for the Sumeru port. But I guess we'll just have to wait and see
Mare Jivari is in Natlan my guy
5:18 That would actually make sense geographically for a tea village

What you're calling "Yilong Wharf" is most likely Bayda Port in Sumeru. Qiaoying Village should be further north, across the water from Lumidouce Port. Not sure where Yilong Wharf would be, perhaps south of Qiaoying, or just a subsection of the village.
7:06
I think it might be a test area for testing burnt grass in the past before the game was even released
Bro hit it dead on the mark
Northern Sumeru consists of the Bayda Harbor as well as a village from which Layla came from ( She mention about her village in her hangout but it is nowhere in the existing Sumeru map and judging by the general area she showed us I suspect it is in the vicinity of Bayda Harbor i.e. north of Sumeru.
