Ingredients:
2 cups all-purpose flour
2 tsp baking powder
8 tbsp cacao
1 cup melted butter
1 cup sugar
3 eggs
1 1/2 cup plain yogurt
(+½-1 cup milk)
Mix well 2 cups of all-purpose flour + 2 tsp of baking powder
Dissolve 1 cup of sugar in 1 cup of melted butter, add 8 tbsp of cacao, 3 eggs and 1 1/2 cup of plain yogurt
Add liquid mixture to the flour mixture
I usually use thinner yogurt, this time I took very thick Greek yogurt. As a result, the batter turned out too thick. Also, batter can be too thick depending on the flour: how much moisture it absorbs. This is very easy to fix by adding milk starting with 1/2 cup (in the end, I used 1 cup of milk). The finished batter should be like sour cream. Pour the batter into a greased pan and place in preheated oven. You can bake at 180C (350F)--or, to avoid acrylamide formation, at 250F (120C) - in the latter case, you’ll have to bake twice as long, about 2 hours. Bake until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. I usually bake at 250F for healthier and tastier homemade baking: nothing burns that way!
