What "graphics settings" were, used? mean full settings?
The graphics are good however the dynamics and mechanics are not, explain to me why the puddles don't even splash as his feet literally phase through them like some clipping glitch....even some PS3 games had this mechanic buddy....do better.

I'm 43 and I went from playing the Atari 2000 in the 80s to playing this game with a RTX3080.
I went from the very first GTA to this game… And it is crazy to me how kids are saying that this game is bad haha
And so far it's still nothing compared to what awaits us around 2030
Wonderful graphic quality indeed, but with crappy storylines, useless glorified common rooms, monotonous open-world, and empty characters (except Sebastian Sallow)

I happened to stumble on this wonderful video and was mesmerized by the intricate sights and sounds walking to the castle. I almost felt like I was there, however at 74, I don't think I could climb the stairs as briskly as the walker (but I will try to keep up)

I've always had this weird feeling from Harry Potter. I was 9 when the first book came out and 11 when I read it. So I grew up with Harry essentially. And the weird...emptiness of not being able to just experience the world of Harry Potter or to go to Hogwarts was so real for me and so many of my friends. There almost needs to be a word for it.
This guy literally held his left thumb in place for nearly two hours on pc just to give us this ASMR. Wow!

I love the details in this. When you play the games I think you just take it all for granted because your focused on the instant or rushed through. This gives you the chance to appreciate the graphics more.

Beyond the amazing graphics, the walking gait is as realistic as I've ever seen in a game. Even the most painstakingly rendered games seem to have difficulty with fluid human movement, but this is perfect.
RDR2 is the best I've seen with fluid character movement, but this game is also great with it, you're right.
@@SnidgetAsphodelFluidity is better in this game than Rdr2. Also Assassins Creed 3s walking and running is also fluid.
It’s not just the fluid movements, it’s that the joint range of motion is accurate as is the strength of each joint. You can even see where the character has some joint issues, such as some right hip laxity. The rhythm of the arms and legs is also accurate and the swings are in rhythm at the same pace to mimic real movement based on speed. Now and then when there are slips in gait, it’s a bit unnatural but otherwise very realistic. Sounds also match exactly. Like when a rock moves underfoot or going up hill and the sound deadens as the sound goes behind the walker and then going downhill the sound echos more as it comes back towards the walker. The constant changing scenery is easy to watch for long periods and is also very realistic. The pools of water and mud are distinctly different when walking on these surfaces and the timing is exact with movement and is pitch perfect. If you look down to the feet while walking, the shadows and terrain, vegetation and rocks are exactly what one would expect. A little less realistic at eye level. I also like the reflections in the pools of water as the walker walks by. Right on. At one point it seemed like the walker’s hip was locking up. Hope this person gets some regeneration of it or walking days will be shortened in a big way. Love the journey!
What do you mean walking gait realistic? The graphics is good, but there's a clear bug with the walking animation where every couple steps the right leg will glitch out, causing it so that if you are walking downhill you will momentary sink into the ground, whereas when walking uphill the right leg will spasm for a mini-second. Look at 28:10. Every couple steps the character sink into the ground a bit and pop back up.

I walk a lot in this game despite being able to fly. The artistry of this game is the reason for that.

I honestly don't find it very impressive. This simulation contains graphics and sounds. While it seems they put a lot of effort into the graphics, the sound is very poorly designed. The steps sound very repetitive. In reality, every step sounds slightly different. This somehow kills the immersion for me.

@@teddydigno4620 idk man, I think the difference between a good game and a great game is the love for details and uniqueness. I don't find anything unique in this game. the charm and the magic of this world, it is just a copy of how this world is portrayed in the books.
a good game you play it until you finish it and then you don't really want to touch it again. you had a likable experience and that's it.
a great game you have no problem to play over and over again to relive the experiences of playing it. because there has been put love into the game itself.
The attention to detail visually is great but I dislike the lighting - a couple of tweaks with FreeStyle or ReShade to adjust the colour grading, etc. makes it look 10x better and sadly the ray tracing implementation is lacking, especially things like reflections on the larger water surfaces and shadows are done the wrong way (though difficult to do it correctly with a hybrid of ray tracing and non-rt techniques in use). The game is crying out for a full pathtracer renderer it would look absolutely stunning.
The game also looks better with most settings on high rather than ultra, except for a small number of settings on ultra like clouds (otherwise you get really cartoony looking clouds).
I do admire the attention to detail with the graphic design however.
I just love your Hogwarts series. The walking pace is just right, so lovely and calming and you stop at exactly the right spots! Keep up the good work! I think I could watch these all day long

This is just an insanely atmospheric world with the most magical realism vibe and level of detail
, it draws you in like I rarely see in any game wow. Now if they can do middle earth like this but of course that would take years and a lot of people working collaborating but I'd sure spend time just walking there .

Superb, peaceful and very beautiful. I liked it when the sun shone through to depict a bucolic idyll. As someone else said, a visual delight. Not that keen on Harry Potter, but might purchase this game on the strength of the graphics alone.

Haha this is literally why I buy open world games. Just to walk around in nature. Have a chronic GI illness so can't go too far on my own, this makes me feel like I'm finally free of my chains in a way. Did the same with Witcher 3, when I finished the game I spend hours just walking around in the world lol

In terms of aesthetics, this game is probably tied for first place for best looking game ever made. I was disappointed when they said it wasn't going to be an MMO but I had a lot of fun playing this through in one player. Very impressive

Oh my, this is great just for the walking aspect. I live in ColoRADo and sometimes it’s too snowy out to actually get outside. I can play this while on my treadmill. Graphics are so good, I might want to walk a little longer!

There are hyppogriffs, they are literally horses with wings and you can ride them
Not horses, but a Wizarding world equivalent of horses are hippogriffs and Thestrals, both magical beasts

I just finished the game. Felt absolutely magical for about 45 hours, after that the 'magic' was leaving, I had figured out the routes to take in the castle and the story concludes. Still, an amazing castle and the outdoors is good too,but what is there to do now? I wished there were more RPG options and consequences, I was hoping Isidora had survived (especially after she didn't turn up in the painting, I thought it was because she was still alive!) and went full dark arts route and I could join her and perhaps secretly recruit Hogwarts students into the dark arts, but I guess that's all a bit too grand. But it would offer a different experience . As it is the game is a bit too clean and most of the time you can only be nice to others. Great experience though while it lasts.
Your video's are great. You do not jerk around and or move too fast. It's very relaxing and not motion sickness inducing :)

Devs should start to make games so far intuitive that u dont need huds or a lot of quest markers and different menu screens
Imagine like just some people appear and the quest starts immediately completely immersive by being integrated into the surrounding like an actual event which is happening and just disappears when u dont follow it which could also increase the replay value a lot idk it could create something completely new by just a few changes

I still haven't finished this game, but the world design is really great. My only wish is for a better story and characters. While playing the game, I've never actually felt like a student at Hogwarts, and all the characters are shallow. I wish there was more role-play elements, and a more immersive school experience.
I wish they gave more purpose to all houses common rooms. What’s the point of common rooms if we can’t even sit and relax on the armchairs? Should’ve given mini games which allow the players to do assignments in their common rooms, and also make mid-term and final test of OWL (Ordinary Wizarding Level) to be available.
@@atrudokht Man, and also... I wish the castle itself had more depth. LIke, the castle is huge, and beautiful, but I just wish that there was more to the castle itself, like, dungeons within and hidden rooms with stories behind them, something like the chamber of secrets or w/e. This game has so much potential, I really hope that they'll do expansions.
