Funny thing about impressionists or loose style paintings...I still, after years, cannot figure out why I like it so much. Maybe such paintings tip us off as to how versatile the mind is in discerning beauty.
Thanks for the motivation, I really love water colour painting and want to impact the knowledge to my student and to produce more future painting by your help.thanks a thousand times.
Prakashan ji. I am 68 yrs old. I stumbled on your channel and was mesmerised. I have never painted in my life, but tried to make this painting with my grand daughter’s water colours. Your technique is so smooth that it encouraged me to try. Thank you so much. Gives me a purpose how to utilise my time now. My family was also happy to see my effort. !!
Wow, beautiful. To me it was also surprising how your wet-on-dry approach can bring such amazing wet-on-wet resembling effects yet with much more control. What I really find stunning is the lower left corner left without paint so that the final white framing is so unique. Astonishing.
Very beautiful painting, sir ,I request you beginners like me to benifit from displaying what colours you mixing when you are painting. This is a politie request to you.
@@mikeevans1390 you are correct, they are manufacturers. I'm going to guess that this is a limited palette of 1. Indigo (100% sure) 2. Indian yellow, cad yellow, or maybe yellow ochre 3. cad red or scarlet pyroll or less likely napthol
Brilliant! Wonderful painting. I love your style. Simple strokes created beautiful scenery. You're so experienced and talent in water colour painting. Enjoy watching your videos very much. Thank you so much.
@@fatimafirdous7696 When I said paper, I meant paper brand, gsm size etc. By colors I meant, ultramarine blue or cobalt etc. What blues or yellows are used, this will help people understand the process better.
@@siddharthpanchal718 looks to me like cold press - any 100% cotton paper is satisfactory. I haven't tried this painting personally but I'd say the colors are indigo, a warm yellow like Indian yellow, cad yellow, possibly yellow ochre, and a warm red IE scarlet pyroll would do well. The brush is a quill mop - likely squirrel hair or a synthetic alternative. Hope that helps!
@@siddharthpanchal718 of course. I completely agree. And so many have asked about his palette and materials but no answer, even a vague one, has been given so I thought I'd try. After competing my own quick little version yesterday I found that the indigo and cad yellow were a great match but the red is stronger than pyroll scarlet - possibly a pyroll red (which I used), or napthol. Since all artist grade manufacturers formula will vary slightly there's only joy in experimenting but I used DaVinci for the indigo and m. Graham for the others.
