Doppelmayr Cable Car GmbH ist hier nicht zum Zug gekommen; es war die Leitner AG mit Sitz in Sterzing in Südtirol !
Das bisherige Manko der Fleckalmbahn (Windanfälligkeit durch Hang­rückenführung) wurde durch neue Trassenführung beseitigt, da die „Neue“ nun leeseitig geführt wird und dadurch windgeschützt liegt. Ein kleiner Kritikpunkt : die mit 10 Sitzen ausgestattete Gondel ist nicht sehr gut belüftet.

Doppelmayr Cable Car GmbH did not get a chance here; it was Leitner AG based in Sterzing in South Tyrol!
The previous shortcoming of the Fleckalmbahn (susceptibility to wind due to the ridge routing) has been eliminated by a new route, as the "new one" is now led on the leeward side and is therefore protected from the wind. A small point of criticism: the 10-seater gondola is not very well ventilated.

I am very happy to hear that from you; I've been there in the mountains very often for years and the mountains were the only place to escape the crowds this "Corona summer". Tyrol was full of people who would otherwise have flown to Italy or Greece ....... - wish You all the best William
