Just got mine installed. I was thrown off at first by how you attach the rod hooks with the open side facing the window. I tried putting it up before reading the directions but I did see that it said the Switchbot logo should be facing inside. But then the hook brackets wouldn't attach to the side of the main motor. So then I went to the directions and had to look at it a few times before realizing there's no other way than the hooks going on with the open side facing the window and the metal side on the inside. That's opposite of how the first Switchbot Curtain went on the rod. Now that's done with I can play around with the Hub 2 Infrared controller option. I'm pretty sure the Fire tv remote uses both bluetooth and infrared. I actually have a Fire tv Cube and I can already control my tv powering on/off, my volume up/down/mute and pretty much all the other buttons. What I'm hoping to find, is a way to get it to enter numbers. You can enter numbers using the Fire tv app and selecting the keyboard input but I still can't get Alexa to do it. I do have a multi-functional bluetooth remote that looks like a game controller with a keyboard on it. That works for entering numbers too. But, again, that's a bluetooth remote and I don't think the Hub 2 will be able to learn from it. My Hisense tv remote has a directional pad that works on my Fire tv Cube but if I press the numbers it doesn't do anything. The shell program I'm using with my iptv service is called Tivimate. It assigns channel numbers to your favorite list channels. But if you want to change a channel, you have to hit the back button on the Fire tv remote to get back to the guide and then scroll up or down before selecting a different channel. It would be so much more convenient if you could just tell Alexa what channel you want to go to and have her execute that command. She can do that with cable and satellite tv boxes. In the past I've even gone as far as using a Harmony hub. But it will only load the Fire tv buttons and not let you add numbers.
Hi it seems that regardless of whether drift is on or off, during auto charging movement it always moves in drift mode. Do you have the same experience? Thanks
Oh sorry! I haven't noticed, but that would make sense if it did that automatically. You might want to ask their support and confirm that is how it is supposed to work.

Interesting. Thanks.
You are welcome

No. If it is set to normal it moves fast. Maybe factory reset?
Sorry just to make sure, I am referring only to movement during auto charging. There is no option to set drift mode for auto charging. Thanks again.

You forgot the crinkly sound of the rollers going over the transition piece, ended up buying new real curtain rods/end pieces/hangers which was $$$
I got rid of their transmission pieces. Going to 3d print something.
