- Comparing my old Jena version of the infamous Zeiss 35mm f/2.4 Makro VS the Nikon 35mm f/2.0 AFD (and just for fun I threw in my current kind of high resolution - Sigma 40mm f/1.4) just to see over time how did the technology progressed.
All mounted on the original Panasonic S5.

The Sigma 40mm 1.4 is the best lens they make. The 85mm 1.4 DG DN is 2nd place.
Optically probably the 105 2.8 dg dn macro beats them both. But yeah they all up there

@@v3zMedia might as well check out the 135mm 1.8 (these 4 lenses I am trying to acquire for a while now - optical perfection would say up there with the real cinema glass)
There is no clear winner in my eyes looking at sample shots only 🤷🏻♀️ clear winner for the price though!😅 but very valid point on clear picture.

it's all a matter of personal taste, thats the whole point of my tests - to show people how they stack up against each other. Zeiss has one more benefit of being able to shoot a lot closer
@@CINENIMUS I think your zeiss copy is faulty. My flektogon is very sharp even wide open
