I was brought here by UA-cam because I love Lamp. I've seen some other nightcore stuff here and there but I'm legitimately curious why people do this? Can somebody explain why people like nightcore? I can't wrap my head around it. It's an existing song, but just sped up. What specifically do people like about it? Is it the faster tempo? The chipmunks voice? Hearing a known song in a different context? Is there some kind of aesthetic to it? Like I get it with bassboosting or making the audio of something extremely loud. It's meme-y. But it seems that nightcore have a legitimate audience of connoisseurs. It's all a bit weird to me.
idk, it depends on the person why they like it sped up. Some like it because they feel the whole song sounds better at a fast tempo, some like it because of the high pitched voices, and some like the melody sped up. For me, I came here since the melody sounds good at a faster rate but am not fan of the voices. I still like the original either way.
some people just like how some songs sound better sped up, some like them slowed down as well i personally just think some songs sound better faster, and i do like this one (although im not a big fan of the voices being so high pitched)
