Just so you know, there’s a terminal that you walked right past while going to Room 1 in the medical clinic that I believe has a big sign over the top saying something about insurance. You can reset your spawn point to that clinic from there. They are in every clinic and hospital in all the major landing zones and stations. 😊
So, i'm pretty brand new, but i followed this guide _step-by-step_ and every time i go to Daymar, OM-1, i dive down on the slightly darker side of the Circular Mountain Range, and begin making the roughly ~3 hour flight around the whole ring, pining every 2-5 seconds from ~900m altititude, flying at ~200m/s. I've done this three times now, and the first two tries, i found not a single ROC-minable rock, nothing but non-stop Prospector Boulders. To the point where i even started checking anything below 7km out on the pings, just in case. The third time, i found a single ROC deposit, a cluster of Aphorite, which i did mine, but then realized the 1-at-a-time bug is very real. Luckily, i randomly exploded for no discernible reason upon heading up out of atmo to jump to a sale point after spending 1 hour moving 341 aphorite one at a time into my ship. Also, every single one of my mining expeditions has ended with me finding 0 ROC-minables over the course of between 1-3 hours, then _randomly fuggin' exploding_ while flying around in my Cutty with the ROC in the back. Sooooo... _Two_ Things. 1.) How do i actually find Hadanite? Cause this guide, as far as i can tell, is now horrifically out of date. I just can't find any ROC rocks anywhere, nothing but Propsector/MOLE boulders. 2.) How do i stop my ROC from throwing the mining arm straight up in the air at full mast every time i exit the vehicle? Doesn't matter how many times i toggle mining mode on or off, power on or off, or power on/off; Neither does it matter what combination of those toggles i leave on/off before exiting, it _always_ throws up the arm when i get out. I ask because i think this happening is why every mining trip i take ends in me randomly exploding, because the arm clips into the ceiling of the Cutty's Cargo Bay and makes the ROC sit a little angrily at a slant. _PLEEEEEASE_ I *love* the process of mining in this game, it's fun. It's also like my last ditch effort to actually enjoy my time in SC after getting suckered in by IAE this year and buying a start pack. So any/all advice that _anyone_ can give would be genuinely, _hugely_ appreciated.
I definitely have to make a new ROC Mining video for this new patch! Thanks for the reminder! Scanning has changed a tad bit in 3.23+. Rule of thumb that I go by, always go for anything under 4km as soon as they pop up in your scan. Anything higher, will usually be ores which you don’t want. The Aphorite bug: You can split it by 3 instead of 1. Should make that process a tad bit faster. Mining arm: I always get out of mining mode while outside of the ship. Drive the ROC into the ship, and just turn the engine off by pressing or holding “i”. Don’t give up on Mining just yet! I’m here to answer any questions, and if you need a video on a specific thing, let me know!!!
Go to Aberdeen brother. Look for signatures under 5k distance. Don't fly too fast and use z to look around while flying. Highly recommend flying in the day light side and pick a heading and fly
@@RealOrbitOps tried it again today and i get zero location markers when pinging. do i have to be in scan mode? what value does SGNL and PIERC have to be?
New to mining. 3.23.1 makes scanning so much harder - I almost only find these giant boulders that are way too big for the ROC. Any tips to find good clusters (Daymar). I just tried for 30mins to find a cluster. It takes a lot of flying in the freelancer to even get anywhere with a scanner result - but every time it's huge boulders marked size "impossible".
You have to have the correct suit of armor. When you mouse over them for details you see that it has temperature ranges. if you're too hot find armor that has a high range and it will keep you from overheating.
2:29 you genuinely made me look and see if the video was over extremely funny 😂…amazing guide btw keep up the good work you’ll be at 4K subs soon
Glad I made you look 😅 Thank you! More coming 🙌🏽

Ohhh nice! Thank you!!!
I was going to say this too!
thanks for helping me out dude
Heck yea! No problem! 🙌🏽
Made the rock explo, no backpack mistake tonight....
Oofff sorry that a rock exploded on ya!

same for me. found no rocs at all

Thank you for the content, do you need that heat armor for the moon you're on Aberdeen?
No problem! And yes you do! For protection 🔥

Hey!!! I haven’t ROC’d mined in 3.23.1 just yet but I’m about to. Will have a video up on it soon 🙌🏽
Amazing guide! Thank you!
No problem! 🚀🙌🏽
great guide. really chill video
Thank you 🙌🏽
Awesome guide, man!
Glad it helped! 🙌🏽
what should i do about temperature? mine keeps reaching 40-42C and i just go running inside my ship and get up to the atmosphere to try coolling down

Yeap, will need the armor for it. For example, if you are mining in Aberdeen, you are going to need the Pembroke suit.
pressing M does not enter mining mode for me even though I have the keybind. Is it bugged in 2.23? I even tried relogging and reclaiming
Yea! It’s bugged in 3.23. Fix coming in 3.23.1.
@@zirHazeGaming ah cool, thanks for the update i thought I was going insane lol
Lol I did too when I first jumped into 3.23 😂
M2
@@danielchampagne9686 Still not fixed in 3.23 :/
.

Scanning has changed a bit! Will probably make a video on this soon.
Thank you man
No problem!! 🙌🏽
Awesome guide.
