Richard from malory whip told me about making a whip with 24 ungutted strands and just a braided overlay.. I was amazed how well it works. I sell them as a less expensive option..
I'm using basically the same method...the core though is made out of unguted tapered strands then the belly is braided and of course the overlay. Is it ln your whip that the core is braided and the you have the belly made out of strait strands? Nice job anyway...they flow perfect.
Thanks! I usually have a core made out of straight strands, a braided belly, and a braided overlay. On this one I did just straight strands for both layers and braided the overlay.
Beautiful craftsmanship.
Thank you very much!
Love the orange and blue one
Thanks! The pattern came out really cool.
