Hi Andy... thank you for this Video.. I am a current student studying AAT Advanced Level 3 Diploma... could you explain the difference between the wages expense and control accs please, what their roles are and what they represent in order to help me remember how to post the figures... thank you
the wages control shows how much a business owes for wages as they are always paid in arrears, along with the tax (it is not possible for any business to be up-to-date with NI and PAYE). the expense shows the cost for the business that goes into the profit or loss statement.
The official body for Payroll is CIPP. They do a variety, though I have no personal experience, then Pitman - a well-established training company, and kaplan - also well-established. Very few colleges offer direct taught courses, as they never attract enough numbers.
I have an AAT lvl 2 bookkeeping controls test today - this video really helped thanks.
excellent video - officially explained that better than my course provider, thank you. definitely subscribing to your channel.
This really helped - thank you for such a structured explanation
Exam tomorrow?
Thank you so much!!
