Egusi soup is traditionaly eaten with amala, which is a darker colored fufu. It's usually never eaten with rice lol.

@Vimary Nation3$ yeah, I share in that concern for him as well. Maybe he has enlarged adenoids, which can severely block nasal cavity and force breathing through the mouth. In those cases, a person tends to swallow quickly order to breath. But the condition can be corrected with a simple surgery to remove the adenoids.

You can order all the ingredients on Amazon unless you guys have an African Market. You have to try Spicy Nigerian Fish Pepper Soup...Jollof rice is sooo yummy....Annnnd the stewed chicken.....look forward to your next African meal videos. I soooo miss the African Markets when I lived in Cali.

My one critique is that this is not “African” food but actually represents that region on the continent. Even if you try “East African food”, the whole region doesn’t all eat one dish.

Nana why you won’t eat fish soup? Be open minded and try new things! And Donisha is right. The citrus gets rid of the fishy taste. I clean my fish with lemon and lime juice. Also u can use that to clean dishes that taste fishy

Egusi is not bad at all. I have had it. Fufu taste different depending on what region. So does African food. Nigerian food doesn't really taste like DR Congo food. So like any continent there is variety. I have tried African and Indian food and grown to appreciate it. The spices were very different for me palette at 1st, but now I enjoy it.
