I've had my current monitor now since 2013, its a Samsung S24B300 which is just a monitor with a HD-resolution and it doesn't even have 60hz (i think only 50hz or so...) or any other special features... Anyway, I really liked the Samsung monitor because over the whole 6 years I haven't had any problems with it, its still working really fine. Samsung did a good job with the durability of it. But after these years I think its time to change / to upgrade. Yesterday I bought the Samsung C49RG for around 1000€ (special offer) and I think the improvement will be gigantic!!! I'm so exicted to finally receive it in a few days :D
they could do the space monitor thing where you can adjust it up and down without moving it back or forwards by having 2 axes so you can adjust each one individually
I ’m using this product. G-SYNC in the NVIDIA control panel. Do not turn it on. Otherwise, the game will flash the screen. Adaptive-Sync in the control panel needs to be kept on. Otherwise, the colors will be distorted and the 240Hz refresh may not be turned on.The actual experience is great without drag Colors are great and smooth
Great video, my friend. 27" Samsung curve isnt to big but they are fast with that 250hz. Looking good... 😉 Now the other one looks wider, not bad 🙂 I like that fold down monitor. Awesome review👍👍
I have a overshoot problem with this monitor. Only way to fix it is to switch the monitor display port setting to 1.1 only problem with that is that it limits the hz at 144. So either I play at 240hz with ugly overshoot display or smooth 144hz which defeats the purpose of a 240hz monitor.
I just both this 240hz monitor yesterday< I'm worried about his quality, does anyone reading this have experience with this monitor ? Is so hard to find information on internet, seems that Samsung didn't had made any marketing on these ones lol
@@brianpark2950 yesss its absolutely fantastic. Trust me the difference between 144 and 240hz is so much, I can't go back to 144. It looks beautiful and the menu on it is so easy to navigate. Only complaints is there is a bit of ghosting, not anything crazy or really noticeable. But thats it! Other than that its awesome. Easy recommendation.
@@Kamyar5 so I’m thinking about either this or a different monitor at 144hz, would you recommend this one? I’ve heard a lot of mixed reviews about it so I’m worried about getting it, also, how is the gsync?
It's all about reducing stutter and motion blur. Yes a TV will work, but in fast moving games, or scrolling in certain applications, you will notice stutters and lag. In certain games such as racing titles, FPS games etc., this is unacceptable and possibly vomit-inducing. For some people's needs the TV will work just fine however.
now don't get me wrong, i love hearthstone but needing to run it at 240 hz is like needing to toast your marshmallows on a saturn 5 rocket.
yeah didn't understand why they would show that game on youre best monitor???
@dhgiovanni draggong the cards to show how little ghosting there is
to show how little ghosting and smoothness there is when dragging things like when linus drags text across the screen
2019
Everyone: The year of who can refresh the fastest..
Apple: $1000 stand...your welcome

I hope u enjoy the upgrade matey! 👌
I like the CRG5 monitor with 240Hz refresh rate. However, the eye catching monitor is the 42" curved wide screen. Very nice.
I do agree the ultra-wide looks sick! 😃

could have sworn 240hrz monitors existed b4 this monitor
There were CRT monitors that could go higher. Not sure about the modern monitors though.
First CURVED 240hz I was triggered for 0.7 seconds

Can someone pls hell me do u need a pc 4 the crg5
bro, fighting games runs at 60 fps, 240hz is for fps
4:50 lmao its a over $1000 monitor and they are using $50 mebrane budget keyboards
What's the point of these monitors a normal 4k LED TV is good enough
Does a standard 4k TV have 240hz? 😜

Ok I get it , let's play apex legends together on 240 hz. Are you game ?
response time?
4ms
G5
I'd rather not recommend to play PUBG in this you might get a heart attack.
But the human eye can only see 3600mhz of ram
G Sync? 🙄
yes monitor is gsync. the only downfall of the 240 hz is 4ms . Big let down.
