Wow Thank you for information! My TSH was 5.6 and they told me ”I have nothing to worry about” since my T3 and T4 is normal. Still we have Hashimotos in the family and the doctors don’t want to check the antibodies. 😞
I want to thank you for all your helpful videos, especially your videos on PCOS and castor oil packs. We tried for over a year to conceive. We took a 3 month break and prepped using the information from your videos. Now I'm sitting next to a six month old baby boy! Thank you!
I have TSH levels around 6.5/7 and TPO in the 1000's and my GP didn't even want to put me on Levo, although I said I'd been trying to concieve. I insisted to be put on Levo, but my TSH is still around 6.5, and I've had two miscarriages. It does shock me how little some health professionals know about the thyroid. Though it's definitely comforting and empowering watching videos like this and learning the facts.
Great job advocating for yourself with your dr!! It is incredibly frustrating that this isn't automatic stuff that doctors will help with, but it's super important to keep diving into what is causing the autoimmunity/antibodies. You're doing great! Two miscarriages this year already. Found out yesterday tsh was 4.1. Doctor wants me to get to 2.0 or lower before conceiving again. Upped my thyroid from 125 to 137. We will see if this helps
I went from 15 to 2.0 two years ago and baby will be two in october. I was on meds so didn't think much about it when conceived and lost the two. So glad I met with the doctor and am getting it under control again.
I'm levothyroxine medication, and my TSH is 2.0. However, I had 2 miscarriages recently, of course could be different factors as well. But got a feeling - it might be thyroid somehow still...never was done full thyroid panel, so it could be potentially hashimoto. I got some symptoms relived when I started taking levothyroxine (my periods are normalized, I got pretty good ovulation), however some symptoms are still persistent - hard to loose weight, tiredness, etc. How you can improve gut health? Diet? probiotics?
I'm desperate for a child to love! I take 125mg for under active thyroid I no people will hate me trying for a child as I'm 42, I do castor packs & take coq10..id really appreciate any advice U can give me I had a stillborn boy in 2016/ on Christmas Eve..❤❤
We have been trying to concieve for 5 years, and I found out today my TSH is at 4.9. My Naturopath has put me on Synthroid to get it down. I hope this works!
I'm glad they're looking at it, but it's also super important we look further and understand why it's that high and if there is any immune involvement. I see this A LOT, and it gets missed for several years. Come ton my next live free masterclass and I talk about this stuff in detail! fertilitymom.com/masterclass-registration/
My husband and I have been TTC for 3 years. And we are just being told my thyroid is enlarged and I was out on metphoren 500 mg two a day. I believe the first time my thyroid was checked about 3 years ago, I wana say it was a 9. Which I’m now seeing is extremely high. I was told all my blood work and ultrasounds were normal. What a headache it has been. I’m waiting for my most recent blood work results from new dr. To see my levels.
My TsH 3,19 and normal with T3 and T4 and Also, the antibody test was fine, and my doctor advised me to take medication so that my thyroid level would be between 2.5 and less. Is this true? I am afraid, especially since I have had four previous miscarriages.
My TSH level was 7 when I went to another practitioner who raised alarm. Previously I used to get Thyroid labs done and my previous practitioner said it was within range.
My TSH is at 6.52 and my gynecologist referred me to a fertility clinic. The last 5 years my TSH has never been below 3.O so it’s always been ‘high’ Can she prescribe me thyroid medication without having to see a fertility specialist? I would love to try to conceive as naturally as possible with as little intervention as possible.
Oh my, 6.52 is high, yes! You can get treatment through many different routes, but the important piece is to understand why you're having the TSH go up. In most countries, the regular ob/gyn can and will prescribe this medication, but it's important to get the other labs checked to know what's happening overall - feel free to email me rose@fertilitymom.com and we can talk more about this!
My TSH IS 0.3 AND T4 IS 30 my doc said if i want to conceive i should continue my dose theres nothing to change!! He said better this levels then high TSH and Low T4.... PLZZ CAN YOU HELP
Hello your so nice plzz help me im trying to cocive my TSH was four weeks ago 4.9 and now 3.5 but iam taking L-thyroxin 100mcg since octuber 2021 and now my doctor is saying to take 112mcg Plzz help me I ALSO TAKE IODINE and folicacid and VD plzz what can I do and my cycel is 27days or 28days ... plzz help 😢
It's good your TSH is on its way down, but it's still too high. This is when to support your entire body - all systems including gut and liver - so that your body can start to heal in addition to the help its getting from the medication. hey i started Levothyroxine 50mcg from 20th January!! my cycle before was of 28days and now its 40days ...im really worried...can you tell is it normal??? after taking medication?
I hate panhypopititarism- theres no cobtent on it! I feel so cheated with all these videos about "just" kreping their thyroid hormone in check. Ti get pregnate i'd need like 7 or mor supplimentations😊
@@naziaamir5445 I'm so sorry to hear it has been 5 years. I think advocating for yourself at your dr's to get a full thyroid panel is important, especially if it hasn't been done yet. It might also be a good idea to see a specialist who can help you find out why you're not getting pregnant. Good luck!
I know for a fact my thyroid is low functioning despite what I’ve been told. My TSH is 4.2. I am currently on femara and will be doing IUI next week. I wanted to try this tincture from Earthly (thyroid support) it contains ashwagndha, milk thistle, Amal berry, licorice root, and Brahmi leaf. I don’t think it’s a good idea to try it while on letrozole but I’m concerned with my thyroid! I want to ask for a full thyroid panel at my follow up appt and see if they are willing to do anything about it
