I play both games for several years. NFS NL even a short while in the beginning, bust serious later 2019. A9 from May 2020. So I think have a good picture of both games. Pro's NFS NL vs A9: * Controls are super easy to learn. A9 has let's just say an interesting physics engine. The learning curve for manual is steep, hence for a less competitive and not very skilled person like me I stick to TD. * You can get most cars if you play & grind long enough. A9 makes is a lot harder to get a good bunch of cars. New cars are often behind a paywall, sometimes at ridiculous levels (especially DS cars can cost over a €1000). * Campaign and SE's have storylines, which gives a nice edge (although the stories are thin). A9 is more straightforward, events have sometimes themes and DS has storyline, but that's it. * Grinding is easier since you skip races. In A9 there's an auto-claim function but it applies to only a few daily events. * There are far, far more customization options. A9 is very limited, often you can only change colors and carbon on some parts. Only a few cars have kits. In NFS NL almost all cars have customization options. * In general NFS NL is far more f2p friendly than A9. Pro's A9 vs NFS NL * Much more action driven with stunts (360, KD, barrel rolls). NFS NL is in that sense more straightforward. * Much more variation in events. There are hunts, SE's, unleashed, GP's etc. etc. There's almost always something to do. Sometimes way too much, but you GL keeps you engaged (and hopes you spend). NFS NL has basically only campaign, SE's, UGR and Tuner Trials. * Graphics are more up to date. but could be perceived as flashy. NFS NL looks a bit "pale", it's good but imho not as good as A9. * Real multiplayer where you play live against other racers. NFS NL has only UGR which is 1v1 in ghost mode. * Much more interaction with other players. You can be in a club, you can chat in game and battle other clubs in Clash. Con's both: * Very grindy games * Random elements (crates/packs) So both have their pro's and con's, glad I don't have to chose. I initially played NFS NL more, but now play it more in a maintenance mode (daily missions, new SE's). I now play mostly A9 which is a lot of fun to me now. I'm very curious how Unite will turn out to be next week!
Yes you can destroy cars in nfs no limits, but it is easier to do it when there are police, you have to block it and make it collide with a police officer, and the cinematic of how it is destroyed appears
Nfs is kinda boring but more interactive and tactile. Asphalt is fast, got a lotta of action, maybe too much... buh it equally gets boring overtime due to difficult purchase system

The comparison is not apple to apple.

True, wouldnt use that exact word though. Legends unite was a flop and nfs still remains grindy to this day.
Like you are? Yeah.
@@Christ_Is_King.Nobody asked. People still place asphalt legends unite on PC and enjoy it alot. It is still extremely popular.
