I like it that you give measurements and units in both metric and in inches, such a small thing makes the video a lot more enjoyable to watch when you don't have to start googling or converting measurements.

Hi Tim, I waited 2 years and finally got the Vanquest Trident Falcon 31. I'm really impressed with the build. It is a bit heavier than 25 liter pack

I like the bag. I think the admin pouch could use some more organization though. And I was surprised that second main pocket didn't have a Velcro patch

this is the most thorough review I have seen on this pack. looking forward to the follow-up video on you having taking it on your trip and seeing what your experience was with long duration wear, I have a good amount of maxpedition bags but this is the latest bag I am considering owning. That being said it would be the most money I would have spend on a bag to date so, I would really like to see how it does in the field so to speak and what all it can hold. Thanks.

Come to think it, I'm going for one too.
Just ordered one of these today. I've got a Vulture II right now, and it's comfortable to carry, but I just don't like the shape. It has a bottom section that juts out and makes it difficult to stand up straight when I'm trying to access it. This Tiburon is the same size but without the annoying topple-over factor.

yeah - I guess that's why they are keeping the Legacy line as well.
I found a very small zippered area at the very bottom and sort of centered between the bed-roll straps. What's that for? There's only enough room for something small like a 6 or 7" pen.

The pocket for the bottle looks very small. Will fit a Klean Kanteen Insulated Growler (32oz/946 ml) in this pocket?
Can you tell me how deep the main compartment is? According to the Maxpedition website it says that the main compartment is 3.5" W (or deep) but it seems deeper than that.
I currently own the Riftcore and the main compartment on that is 3.5" W (or deep) and it would seem to me that this should be deeper. Hope this makes sense...

Maxpedition's premium pricing strategy (overpricing strategy) is out of control. $237 on Amazon for this pack is just kooky. It looks like a nice bag, but come on Maxpedition. Stop insulting the consumer with these absurd prices.
Plenty of opportunity for you to make and sell products in the open marketplace. There are lots of players charging this much and more for similar products.
It's on sale right now for 170 and maxpedition has sales often they have had one for the past 4 weekends
