You don't need to rag on anyone to lift Rina up. Like she said, she lived Avril and she's as mainstream as you could get in the early 2000s. So did I. Mainstream isn't bad, but Rina definitely deserves a lot more attention than she has.

Honestly....I'm not so sure about that.
Here's why: Because, right now, there is SO MUCH AMAZING MUSIC. Like...it's insane. It blows my mind how I'll stumble across some artist with moderate views who I've never even heard of...and find myself thinking, "This is the best shit I've heard in years."
It just keeps happening. As a massive fan of novelty and evolution in "alternative pop" music....I'm very very happy in 2020. There's TOO much incredible stuff....and only so much time to discover and delve into all of it.

@@theunitedkingdom yes, but her race is not something that is holding her back unlike BIPOC/POC artists. There are a lot more hoops and obstacles in the way of people who aren't white. Billie doesn't have to worry about her race getting in the way of success like the rest of us.
