If you are just picking up this character raw, you are going to struggle with the combos and it will take some time to fully lock her combos down. Just a heads up people. Nice video btw, your tutorials are the best ones out there
I appreciate it man! I've honestly found working around the float and just jumping around in neutral to be one of the hardest things to do cause i haven't conceptually figured out why id want one over the other 👀 her bnbs aren't too bad tho thankfully. I'll probably put out a bnbs video in the future aswell.
@@MetaTrixx yeah when i first started playing her i found it difficult to consistently pull off her combos but I've really gotten the hand of it now and yeah, i mostly just float around everywhere
@Meta Of Smash @moist man That's is very true. Another important thing is to focus on learning how to utilize her float tech in your movement, as it's probably harder than her combos. Being able to use her float tech (such as JCFF) in your movement is the key element to improving with this character, since her float is the reasons why she can move around so efficiently.
@@j.rubach9910 regarding to that, I find one of the most difficult things of peach the spacing. Floating around to move and mix up is definitely good, but you cant shield, roll or air dodge while doing so. So without proper spacing, you might get hit. I've practicing this online and been punished so hard so many times. My gsp dropped like crazy, don't think I'll recover from this anytime soon haha. Other than that, I find it very hard to do the float cancel nair consistently. I tend to whiff it like half the time at least. Most of the time I do dair instead because I press A before the stick has been fully reset to neutral. Or I do the move successful, but then I'm not fast enough to actually utilize it in a combo.
@@Ereinion25 Indeed! I find the spacing to be very hard with Peach as well. You really have to be good at utilizing everything in her kit to move close in to your opponent. And as you said, once you get close, you want to use stuff like float cancel nairs (which again as you said, can be very tricky to pull off consistantly). Learning and mastering Peach really is a roller coaster ride, but still I find her to be one of the most fun characters to play. And I think the fact that there's so much to learn about her is a big reason for why she's so fun to learn and play.
Good vid man. Really like that you have the controls input displayed. Helps visualing the input needed nicely. Also didn't realize you could just keep down on the stick for multiple float upair or bair in succession. So thanks, this helps a lot getting more consistent! Also , do you maybe have a tip for getting the float Nair timing more consistent ? I tend to be either to early so I do dair instead, or to late so it won't combo properly.
Pro tip: when floating by holding up you can then press and hold the jump button and let go of up. This lets you move left to right at full speed while floating
I just started playing Peach a couple of months ago. If you're reading this and thinking about gaining this character, I HIGHLY recommend you practice refining your fundamentals (advanced movement, spacing, defense, timing, etc.) before trying to learn combos. It doesn't help to know the combos if you can't force your opponent into situations where you're able to utilize them. Great vid btw!
Nah I started maining her around October because I discovered all the cool stuff she could do, and though it’s been a grind learning all her tech with float, it’s also been fun. Though I do love Samsora.
Pro controller user here When I roll my finger fro X -A to float cancle I perform it perfect but it doesn’t true combo for me . Why ? It’s like the nair isn’t fast enough going into the down tilt
ive always played peach with default controls (just tilt stick and tap jump off) but this is making me want to use a shoulder button for jump now lol omg
Samsora uses x and y for jump. He doesn’t use a shoulder or z button for jump. Directional aerials are done with control stick for samsora. But most peach community uses trigger or z for jump.
This is fine for people who have no clue how to use peach but the title makes it seem like I was supposed to learn advanced movement. My list of gripes with the video: •When off stage, using up to float is bad practice: you can't N-air, C-stick aerials will cancel the float and movement is limited - pressing down and jump won't waste your double jump •Video didn't talk about movement options like floating to platforms, floating to ledge or even float fast falls as a tomahawk •Claw grip is very optimal to avoid having to use a tiny z button or mushy shoulder button I recommend the channel Dark.pch for people who wan't to get good with this character
I jump with y and can still use c-stick without directional influence with claw grip. I switch between regular grip and claw grip quite often thought for different things. Not sure if it's hindering or beneficial to me.
SOMEONE why does peaches nair do different damage. I have experienced three different damages which are 15.6, 13.6 or 6 percent. Is there a sweet spot with her nair
I just can't get it. Sometimes when I'm doing float-cancel ariels, she jumps too high. How can I get this to stop? Also, I cannot for the life of me get the nairs down.
Why does this need to be "checked" it is a move that can be cancelled early like Jigglypuff down air. If u want to short hop dair, do the shorthop first and then down air not both at same time
What button do you set to grab? Also switching up the controls like that while it does make it easier for combos I find dropping turnips is hard because I always used to drop them with the Z button to trick people now I’m trying to find another button to drop the turnip while floating.
I never knew how people didn’t get out to float with her like right off the ground, in the first 10 seconds you can tell you can float with her in the air by holding down. Why not just jump and then hold down and bam, you can float off the ground
This is a great explanation of Peach's basic float mechanics! Thanks for making some quality content for her :)
Samsora used this skill to float out of his accountability

I thought it was click bait when I didn't hear Samsora's voice. But not at all. Good quality stuff! 😎
I very recently started committing to maining Peach, so this came at a perfect time!
Why main her cause of samsora? You leach
Nah I started maining her around October because I discovered all the cool stuff she could do, and though it’s been a grind learning all her tech with float, it’s also been fun. Though I do love Samsora.
Nice video!! Thank you for explaining everything so well and showing the buttons you press on the controller.
Time to use this skill to float out of Twitter abandonment
Im like snake in this video
He's just standing... THERE
Meta Of Smash yea im that good :/
I just wanted to get good with peach too lol. this vid is perfect 👌
RWBY Chibi thumbnail, I appreciate
is there a way to do this with joycons instead of the gamecube controller?
I always wondered how he did short hop float. Never could figure it out
Stupid

An absolute savage indeed
Absolutely wonderful video man!!
you can use face buttons and c stick aerials by playing using the claw grip method.

Maybe do it faster? I think it has very little landing lag so you can use down tilt as early as possible
I try to do down tilt into ground float naut but it’s extremely difficult
Best video I’ve seen regarding float combos. Great job.

Could you please cover Pikachu Nair loops.

How do you show your inputs yet you’re on the switch!?
Golden video
Omg my mind just exploded. This is going to help immensely. It Will take some getting used to but omg thank you!

Yes there is .
As a bayonetta player i use my Left Z button to jump so playing peach is super fun and feels natural
So me and my friends chose to do random but whoever we got wed have to have as one of our mains and i got peach so this vid helped a lot!😂
How to destroy sypher guide???
Gotta use single hit moves only. Mk dair and nair should work 👀
I can't get the cancel it's way to hard for me Everytime I try I short up on the second cancel
Half Turkey same
I just can't get it. Sometimes when I'm doing float-cancel ariels, she jumps too high. How can I get this to stop? Also, I cannot for the life of me get the nairs down.
I need this, thank you
THANK YOU FOR THISSS
I don’t understand why people use Game cube controllers still. Like use switch ones. Those controls are so foreign to me.
Damn where was this when I was learning peach
don't have a gamecube controller though but really helps
3:57 ?
Do some mega man and banjo!
It could've been nice to show the JCFF of peach that allows her to do multiply their chances with combos.
Will you please check Lucario buffer short hop down air it is bugged he doesn't jump he just shoots it into the ground

I did not know that, about the bomb.

I use r as grab

Oh no, I miss my combo, I deal only 60% instead of 80% 😐
Yo when you said the thing about pulling a bomb I pulled a bomb xD
I play peach and I just claw
the jargon is painful
You should change the title and add (Gamecube Controller only)
Why? The pro controller can do this too you just need to map a different shoulder button.
@@coral3831 Because he just talked about a gamecube controller
IIIXxShadowXx 25 yaknow the pro has a z button to its just called the l button
Just to clarify, all of this works with Daisy as well. (Trust me, I checked.)
No way
thank you Kanye

Huh, I still won't be able to do this
People who play claw this is easy to do with default controls
I feel like peach is complex to me
she may be complex but still needs spacing like marth ;)
Why the hell does everyone use Game cube controllers? I’ve won Multiple tournaments with Pro controller
Hiya dinosaur
Fucking float cancelling is the single most broken thing in the game, Arsene doesn't come close.
Yo sound like hiko

You did not make this videos because you were practice your peach? That is my theory . Sorry if my english is not good I speek spanish😅
I just felt like it since there's no gguides on this with a controller Cam
