Small tip. Just think of the progression of what happens. You see poison slime faster than you, you choose to sneak past, it spots you and hits you, you dodge. On the other hand. See poison slime faster than you, you attack it, it hits you, you dodge, you kill it getting the souls and getting rid of it off the stage entirely. Same outcome of it hitting you just on one hand you are left way better off. Hope this helps!
Good game! But remember that if you're relying on dodge to survive then usually better to just hit them than try to stealth past when you only have like a 5% stealth chance. Especially when you have an intimidate item. Also please take the friend of frogs! Even just for the stats it would have been fine when you came across it. And frogs are friends.

I know you said early build, but honestly, early all you need is speed and potentially stealth chance if you can't have enough speed. So if I were to choose early item, it would be Misting Vessel. Especially that it is a shield that can be later replaced with let's say Bolster or Toxins. Gems are still great for hermit's tiara, especially if you can later get a book that gives you stats from destroying gems, but it won't work on the poltergeist anyway. And when you can't outspeed your enemy, stealth is more useful, because if you decide to fight it anyway, you take only first hit and then freeze stays, so with poltergeist potentially you could also take just one hit and then kill the target with damage, but in a case you need to run, it won't help you like stealth does. But of course Poltergeist is still solid item.

You really need to read the Full description of the items you get, the scroll you used to destroy an equipped item lets you keep the stats as well as get half the value. Its basically a free wishful effect
@@OlexaYT okay, fair enough, it would have actually kept the dodge chance from the shield that you wanted, and you seemed to think you would lose the stats from what you were saying, so i figured id mention it.

Yeeess, more of the spoon content, make de spoon a +10 to everything just by meta progression
Who's gonna tell joa cause I might hurt his feelings
to be fair, the diamond spoon does have a +11 in Health (and -6 in both Attack and Defense, which is absolutely terrible)

The knockback to let the scrounger leave XD
dont need defense if u never get hit tyler youre the visionary
There are items that make dodge and stealth become uncapped, for example the grey item that gives stealth for empty slots is an easy one to get.
"Is there something want destroyed for stats?" *mouses over glass shield a PURE STAT ITEM* "I'll be real... I don't really think so..."
Glass shield isn’t exactly an item you want to destroy and get its stats though. Half of the stats are negative
But you were doing a negative defense build? And it gives negative defense for higher damage..?
That 80% chance lasted you a LONG time hahahaha
Little tip: Curse and Soul damage can't kill by themselves. At most the leave creatures (or you) at 1 health
Unlucky I guess
Can't even be mad (except that you kept glass shield for so long when you could've soul-crafted it)

at 15:00 you actually get healed when upgrading your health
Loving these runs!
you can make the tiara work with the backpack…but you need a lot of money for rerolls. I prefer the underpants though
My personal favourite early build around tiara is poltergeist. Especially if you can get the boots, that give +1 to each stat boost

Yeetus-deletus dodge build
Wonderful
I believe there is an item that makes it so you can have a 100% stealth chance, just unfortunately you didn't get it this run
14:45 I understand the logic here but you trade a 85% chance to live for a 75% chance to live

Dodge isn’t a primary stat so you would not gain that as a permanent stat
That’s at least how it works in wishful, so if that’s the case for the scroll then that’s poor wording from the game

Is there a reason to take cursed potions when you are already at full health and have no curse synergy?
Yes in this scenario, as he had a mask that gave him max health for drinking potions at full health.
