He should have felt loved by Sally, but instead of loosening up some , he chose to remain morose and monosyllabic. Though I must say that cigar ashes on the carpret and scuff marks on the chairs would upset me a bit as well. :)
Matthew didn't appreciate his worth and instead let one creep from childhood define him. His wife loved him and didn't care about his looks (though she was irritating with that endless chatter and feeding the dog chocolates), but Matthew turned mean.
Though they only had one child taunting him, I'm sure there were a lot more. After all, look what happened to him at the masquerade ball. It was pretty much a way of life, even when he found someone to marry. That's why he snapped.
@@AuroraBoarder1 But seriously it isn't really a bad thing for a man to have big hands. It is usually an insult directed at women. I'll have to listen again to get more intel on the character Sally.
Man needs to be married no matter what. No, not every man is cut out for marriage. Those who do not want to get married, should never be forced to, just to fit in with the societal norms.
Gotta admit this was a miss for me. The wife's voice was so loud I had to keep adjusting the volume. I didn't understand why they kept talking about his large hands and the conclusion was lost on me. No show is perfect and they all have dud episodes, but it is rare for me to listen to a Suspense episode I ended up not liking.
Thank you so much. I' haven't heard this since I was a Child! What a memorable occasion!
This episode broke my heart.

Such a good story. I love th we old fashioned shows. Helped calmed me down with my chronic insomnia and anxiety disorders.
Very interesting!!! Thank you!!
A very sad episode, but an insightful look at the effects of childhood taunting.
Yes!!!
Binge listening during pandemic😱 Aug 2020, Oakland CA. Enjoying these episodes very much💛

Agreed. He should have softened up some to be loved by Sally.

@David - I don't trust Sally. I had the impression she married him because she couldn't get anyone else.

I'm with some of the others. Tale was too depressing with a guy who went out of his way to be his own worst enemy.

Prob the most annoying suspense I've ever heard. My god!
What is wrong with it?
I couldn't agree more. This episode was double stupid.
@@denisenoemyschizotypaldiso3755 Wrong? I'm trying my best to find something RIGHT with it. : )

Agreed. Likely the worst.
