Helped me fix my phone without any problems.
I bought a replacement that came with the frame already attached, so also had to move across the speaker, microphone, power/volume buttons and the other big connector ribbon from the old phone. But was able to work that out by myself, as this video told me the other 95% of what to do.

Excellent tutorial. Heating and prying the screen off was the tough one for me.
For those unexperienced (like me), I would suggest buying the screen with the frame, then you can forget about the glue.

I would have two words of warning - firstly, trying to get the tape out from under the battery is a lot harder than it looks in the video. Be careful not to snap it because there's a real chance of damage to the battery if you have to prise it out.
Secondly, be careful to check what model you have - there are so many versions of the note 4 and there are at least two completely different screens used. This screen is for the snapdragon model and is essentially the same screen as the 4x uses. However, other versions have their connectors all at the bottom of the screen - be careful!

Used it to change the front panel, only forgot to move the speaker (meh :) ), but on 2nd try everything is fine!
Fantastic repair video. I was able to replace it myself after watching this. Things to note though that you didn't show and might not apply but if you are replacing the frame as well you need to remember to transfer the MB cable and the keypad back light component. Thank you for making this!

@@Life_Is_Adventuree Yes it depends on what replacement screen you buy, the one including the frame or not. I looked at the video and decided the one with the frame seemed easier. The MB cable is just under the battery and the keypad LCD sits below the speaker and charging board.

This really is a good, clear, no-nonsense video. Thank you. Maybe you can help. I've replaced my screen and the phone boots fine, everything works. But as soon as I click the back cover on it immediately goes into a bootloop. Happens every single time. Do you know what I might have done wrong?

hello great video i had a little problem doing it when i removed the touch flex from the motherboard I broke the plastic thing that press the flex and when i build the cellphone the touch won't work do you know any way to fix this?

To replace only the broken touch screen digitizer (glass) is neccessary to have a special equipment? I mean that in this case do you have to separate touch from lcd screen?Is this process a more complicated process?

The flex connection on the motherboard for switching on and off has been aborted. Is there a way to exchange this? Or has to buy a completely new motherboard? Is it necessary to use dedicated 3M or other double sided tape which is really flexible (i assume that by seeing that it can be removed by just taking it out from the bottom of battery) or it can just be regular double side tape with strong glue that we can buy in most of the shops?
What about glue used to attach screen to the chassis? Is there need to use special glue or typical acrylic glue is fine?

Hello, Krystill!I m so sorry to hear that :( If you followEed the video it s imposible to do that! Are you sure, you didn t use any metal tool or you have punctured the battery with any tool ?! The baterry is caught with adhesive tapes that you have to pull them to remove the battery..

I changed the screen of my Redmi Note 4X according to your instructions and a first test proved the new screens works. However, just when I tested it again before putting the back cover back on, all I can see is a black screen with a single red vertical line. Is this caused by a poorly connected cable or is the screen or anything else broken? I've reconnected the flex cables but that didn't solve the problem.

Im probably too late but there is few versions for redmi note 4 screen:
-there are diffrent screens for global and chinese version of this phone
-there are diffrent screens for snapdragon and mediatek version of this phone(diffrent proccessors)

you didnt understand me, i mean that you put the warranty sticker there but you dont have the original adhesive on the battery, plus you didnt put back the bottom sticker correctly, so it is very obvious that someone opened the phone. nice videos
I wouldn't use a glue for that screen.I've seen people use adhesive tape instead.I had some guy repairing my phone,and they did exactly what u did.one week later the screen started to come off the frame.Also it was the same Red mi note 4.
