Because I know everyone doesn’t check the description box, I did return the Dyson Corrale last year. BUT I received it as a gift a few months ago (not from Dyson). Thanks! 💛
I was about to say "Go get your money back" 🗣
Hahahaha!! Thanks for looking out 😂
Hair looks BOMB! 💯✨ I’m a male who bought this in January because I was itching to try it instead of going to get a silk press out of curiosity...then returned it due to my rent being due lol!! 🤣 I’m now going to purchase again because it’s the ONLY flat iron I’ve used where I can properly grip my hair with ease, without being overwhelmed! Honestly the best iron I’ve used...it makes the entire process seamless. I actually like how it DOESN’T get your hair “bone straight”, your hair has a ton of body & looks extremely lush & healthy! My results were the same. Can’t wait to repurchase it, along with the RevAir! 🙌🏽✨
Wow! I’m really glad you love it. I still haven’t tried the RevAir. You betta treat yourself!!! 🙌🏾🥰
Thanks to all of y'all who returned it, I got a refurb for $160. Haven't had it long enough to decide if it's worth even that, but my refurb was literally just like new.
It's been the only straightener I've used for 3 years. It doesn't get my hair silky straight but I'm satisfied with my results now. I hope you enjoy it! You got a really good price! I just hate the battery life lol
I was surprised to see how good your hair looked 3 days later. I hope you keep it because if it doesn’t cause heat damage, it’s worth it.
It’s become my go to tool for straightening my hair! I haven’t seen any signs of heat damage from using it. 💛
The shine is great!! I have had my eyes on this flat iron since It came out!! I love dyson!! I have two vacuums, a few fans and a blow dryer from them 🤣🤣
Their vacuums are wonderful. I think I'm going to invest in the hair dryer and flat iron.
hi. do you still use this flat iron. i am thinking of purchasing one refurbished.
Hello! Yes! It’s the only flat iron I use now
If your hair is going into the plates with texture, the heat will set that texture in chase method applies tension and straightening out that texture prior to the heat being applied
Allegedly the Corrale's plates are supposed to create enough tension so that you don't need to do the chase method, but what you're saying makes sense and that's why I still use a fine tooth come or a boar bristle brush
12:10 the flexible plate method is more or less about evenly heating your hair… the chasing comb separates and detangles the hair befor the heat passes… textured (coiled) hair types needs both
Your hair looks beautiful 😍 Thanks for giving your honest opinion about the Dyson Corrale! I'm with you as well, I love straightening my hair multiple times per year too. I love my natural hair, but I need a break sometimes lol
Thanks Nia!!!! Yes!!! I'm about ready for a REAL break and throw some braids in my hair. Thanks again for watching! 💛
@@HeyKnottyGirl yw!!
Your hair looks great here. I know I'm a year late to the party. I like Dyson's products and got a refurbished one for $100 off so to me, it's worth it.
It’s never too late! This has become the only straightener I use. It gets my hair straight enough with 2 passes and it hasn’t damaged my hair. I do get frustrated by the battery life but it I love it.
Try a bristle brush to chase it will give stronger and more even tension so the hair won't mat with the flexible plates
Thank you! Your comment is right on time because I just bought a bristle brush this weekend 💛
Great video - so many people use it incorrectly so you did great! i have ruined my hair over the years from GHD - thetechnology can hinder breakage from Dyson - so that alone was enough to convince me as my hair broke in so many places from GHD - did it daily!
Thank you! And you’re right, this Dyson is definitely a technological investment, I’m glad it’s working out for you! 💛
hi faren 🤗
im glad you did this video...the results are really nice.
thanks for your honest review. i already have 3 flatirons (why - who knows), so im not in the market, but i like the idea of a cordless flatiron. tfs 😊
5:15 the issue with the ends is still your blowout. Although you have a professional blowout, it’s still not smooth… that’s why your comb is getting caught
I hated it when I first got it. It took a few uses to get used to it.now I can’t survive without it. My hair is thick!
I love it now! It’s the only straightener I use!
This is so funny! I just watched your original video yesterday, time to watch this update x
Lol! That was good timing
Great video Faren. I have similar hair. Do you think this would have prevented the heat damage you sustained in the past?
Thanks Jasonia!!! Now that I understand how it works, and how to properly prep my hair, I love it. I do think it’s less damaging on my hair, but it’s still a lil heavy and the battery life is crap (in my opinion)
@@HeyKnottyGirl anything I can do to prevent damage from stretching or straightening with heat will make me sit up and pay attention. Wet or heatless styling seems to leave me with lots and lots of single strand knots, every time...which then lead to splitting.
Really….I don’t get a lot of SSK, so I might not be a lot of help 😣 but ever since I started adding treatments (Olaplex 0 and 3, Curlsmith Bond Rehab Salve, and Pattern Treatment mask) into my wash day routines, I’ve seen a difference in my hair.
The only other thing I can suggest is gently detangling your hair before you shampoo
You have me wanting to straighten my hair But I'm not ready to put in the work😩
Love ur results! 🤎
Lol! It’s like a two day process to straighten hair! I don’t blame you 😂😂😂 thanks for watching dear! 💛
Love your results sis! Popping per usual! You are so genuine and I love it! ⭐️
🥰🥰🥰 thank you Nesha!!!! 💛
your hair looks amazing... I am thinking about purchase the dyson... 😄
I've enjoyed my investments!
I remember that video 🤣🤣🤣!! I’m here for the update
How yall hair be looking good after 3 days.. Am I the only one that take hot showers n sweat in the head really bad.... Am I the only1..
Lmao!!! Man…..my showers feel like hell 😳, I do try to take cooler ones when my hair is straight but I try and keep my hair wrapped up tight!
@@HeyKnottyGirl "Lmao!!!" . Hehehehehe
@@HeyKnottyGirl I'm about to get my guy friend to buy this. He keeps complaining about my hair not being blew out (he likes the hang time) I'm like "dude!.. do u know how much work it takes for me to keep my hair straight.
Do u know how much damage I'll be prone to by all that manipulation."
So I said I may need new tools. He offered to get whatever tools I needed
*So bam! I sent him the link for the Airwrap.* (I better not hear him complain about the price either.)
You look Beautiful!
OMG thank you for such a wonderful compliment! 🥰
Hey girl Hey 👋🏾😍
You weren’t playing about coming right over! Hello love! 💛
New subbie
Girl, I don't mean to get in your business but aren't you dealing with heat damage already? 😅👀
Yes ma’am 😂😂😂 I just really like wearing my hair straight after a trim 🥴. I know, I know. I’m terrible 😂
@@HeyKnottyGirl 😭😂🤭
@@HeyKnottyGirl Girl, I'm the same!🤣🤣
I think I’m going get this. My ceramic plated FHI broke the other day. Although I love the silky result. I kind of feel like I’m getting too used to perfectly silky hair and my natural pattern is beginning to loosen. I like the shine and body that I see here. It’s not a perfect silk, but on only 410 degrees plus less tension, I feel like this will be what I need to get to those 30in natural hair results I want eventually 🙈
I really REALLY enjoy my Dyson Corrale. And the more I use it, the better my presses have been. Using it on 410 is hot enough to get my hair straight and it lasts. If you want to, I did a video a couple months ago going through my WHOLE straight hair routine, check it out. I needed a real trim in that video but it still came out REALLY good. Thank you so much for the comments and suggestions 💕💛
8:45 definitely healthier though… look at that shine and body
7:15 omgggg me too lol
