- Hello Everybody I thought Id Share this information about double axe I am suprised not many people are using it with how much damage it does per swing with the axe perk.

Aha so happy to see this. But honestly, Pete, I think any weapon is viable in your hands. You just know how to play and space so well. You could probably use a foam pool noodle and kick ass

While I can make anything look good while dodging I mainly want to show the true potential of these underutilized weapons because they can all be terrifying in the right hands.

Something else to consider, u get the HEADSHOT damage perk which is huge when ur talking about percentages. The right click is 115% on the FIRST swing while war maul and bardiche only have access to 100% on the first swing and that right click is almost impossible to miss head with cause of the swing pattern unless they lean back, so double axe always hits the hardest.

Range for the weapon is way too important. You get way more hits in with Zwei/Bardiche
True but I wanted to demonstrate the axes huge power difference at the cost of extended range. Because sometimes you will need it to get past heavily armored opponents

Emaciated Peterson, a double axe is better than a single axe. Thus will a triple axe be even better?
I guess if they ever add a triple axe then sure. But the main point was to show barbs axes are probably the best tools to spec into atm
did you run this in solo cypts and die to a slayer fighter above mummy and spidder place if so i fought you and won.
the axe does hit really hard, i think this build would be even better with rage as it is the new high dps "you get hit, you die" weapon
I'll leave the extra experimentation to the other barbs who pick this up. I just love blood exchange to much to get rid of it.

LOL, I put an axe up the market place and I 99% sure it's this double axe. Same rolls. I just wanted to get it out of my stash and sold it for cheap.

As good as the +5 wep dmg, I don't like that there's only a very few limited weapon specialized talents, especially when barb has access to such a wide array of weapons. Same for fighters, only sword and dual wield specializations. Wish there was talents for quarterstaff, bardiche, maul/club ect

i used the double axe before, why people have so much trouble dodging the second hit?
Probably just people aren't adjusted to it yet

Yea must have been a filter while talking in the water so probably why he couldn't hear me
I think about it too then i looked at horseman axe and WHY the fuck is this so bad , even with axe perk it deal less than a club
It's really good because it's swinging a lot faster than a club sure might be doing slightly less than the slow club the DPS is really good on it.

In the clip the bard was health stacking and the buckler gives him a good bit of pdr. Was a demonstration about the damage since if I used zweihander would have taken 4 to 5
Physical damage reduction would be low, so why is bow damage so useless against goblin archers?
They changed how bows work they have damage fall off depending on distance so most likely why your arrows not doing a ton of damage far away

Seems underwelming still. Zwi will 2 or 3 shot everyone without pdr as well and you dont beed to use a perk or worry about sour spots and low range.
Well with dragging the swing you can get around sour spots and zweihander still does has one it's just better than double axe but works the exact same way
I swear this class has to get the nerf stick pretty hard. 160hp, more MS than everyone, more damage than everyone, and you are not wearing 2 pieces of gear aha xD. Not to take away from your skills, but everytime I see one of your vid I get sad for every victim, it's not like they could do anything lol.
True but I have 0 pdr so I actually only take like 3 to 4 hits to kill I'm only achieving that move speed because I sacrificed all the main armor pieces.

This aint new, they nerf axe spec into he ground and meta changed, they just unerfed it
Probably in anticipation of nerfing throwables, because barbs cannot get nerfed without buffs

Yep pretty much all the tools in this game have something going for it. The axes sacrifice range and speed for drastically more damage so now I've shown this more way for people to express themselves in how they like to play if they prefer this style.

I really am tired of the jumping like a idiot in fights. It just makes high level Pvp so damn clumsy.

Well I mean I already did vids on fighter and proved zweihander better on fighter atm so already something I proved
i ask myself if barbarians and fighters actually think they win by having skills, or are aware that they just fully abuse the most broken systems in this unbalanced game

@@Skinny_Pete_ funny thing is that your build is buffing francisca spam, the next totally broken thing on fighter and barbarian and to be sure the class is broken; all the available playtest data shows how barbarian is messed up and on top, then he got achilles strike on top of that, lizard further buffs the speed of barbarian on top of that, a ability that reduces physical power of enemies by 50% on top of that, but i can respect using blood exchange instead of rage and the bobbing and weaving tough. Thanks for the demonstration
Nah warmaul hits harder
The double axe has more weapon damage and it might be true since war maul has a little armor penetration. The double axe is a lot faster so it's way better
