I, too, love Cozy Lane. Waiting for my chart to come.. will be stitching it soon! Love all of your designs. Appreciate your videos and your ideas to finish.
Erin I enjoyed seeing your designs stitched and finished in various ways! You give us so many great ideas on finding things to finish on, such as the little canvases glued back to back😃 The Cozy Lane pattern is so beautiful! I love the checkered house with all the florals and arbor! If I was going to add decor at the top of that design, I would add less pumpkins and greenery. I think less is more to keep the stitching as the focus first of all! And your Winter/Christmas tier tray is my favorite one so far❤️. I’m going to order that beautiful tier tray after seeing how pretty it is with each season’s design. You truly are blessed to receive that full box of thread, fabrics, and magazines from your in laws! It will be great fun using them in your stitching. Have fun in your quilting class and I look forward to seeing your progress. I’ve quilted since the 1970’s and it brings me so much joy as well as my cross stitching😀
Aww thank you so very much!! I’m glad you enjoyed the ideas I shared. I definitely am going to revisit the detail on the top of Cozy Lane for sure, I think it’s a bit heavy too, I’ll be sure to share the change in my next video. I’m very excited to start quilting! Thanks for taking the time to watch and comment 😊
I love your tiered tray designs. I really enjoyed stitching summer and it stays out all year. I’ve bought a few others and am looking forward to stitching them. Thanks for the turkey. He’s very cute. You’re hair looks nice and good luck with your quilting adventure.
Cute hair cut! 🩷 Silly once Sept starts its usually cracra lol . Hope you get to make more costumes, so fun! Wow to the box of stitchy goodness 👍 I'll be interested to see how your design esthetic changes when you start reading that British #1 Cross stitch magazine. I love their designs! Love watching the shelves behind you morf (?) LOL 😉 Keep in mind the Kiss principle.( if you want of course)Terrific that your taking a quilt class! Have lots of fun at class.
Live the new hair style, it really suits you. Your Winter tiered tray has my heart. I need it with the finishing piece for sure. I love cozy lane too. The colors are amazing. You are such a great designer, and I love your finishing ideas too. A great watch!
Love your haircut Erin, so cute. We all understand family first so we will wait till you have time for a video that's why I hit the bell to be notified.lol. Cozy Lane is beautiful.
Great video! (my first time here!) Your designs are amazing, especially the tiered tray ones! Thanks for the great tip on making the 2-board piece. That would be a great solo video! It's an inspired idea!!!! Regarding the fringe-y bow on the top of Frank's house...it actually looked like a multi colored spider to me...which then gave me the idea (for you, as I don't do Halloween) is that if you did a fringe-y bow all in black ribbons (for a future project) it would look like a spider!!!!!! When you showed your Christmas tiered tray piece and questioned the backing board size...my view of it was that the edge (because of the rick rack) made the edge look like candy cane fabric! (for a future finish of others, a candy cane stripe fabric edge peaking out would indeed look like real candy canes up close and a distance.) Anyway...great video...I need to go back and watch 1-7!!!!
I really enjoyed your video! Love your new haircut! Would you possibly consider doing a tutorial for the block finishes? I love the idea of using the canvas! Love the freebie! So cute! Thank you!!
I love your winter tier piece and will definitely stitch that one. :-) About the pretty garden piece with the flower arrangement on the top, I do think it is a bit top heavy, but since both pieces are on magnets try putting the floral arrangement on the bottom. It might not work, but I think the eye would focus first on your stitching, the most important part, and then come to rest on the floral arrangement. Give that a try.
Hi Erin! What a great flosstube this was. I absolutely love your haircut. Thanks for sharing that tiered tray and enabling me😂. The Halloween pictures from the past where a great touch. I always loved making my kids costumes. Can't wait to see you on the Zoom with Alicia Many hugs from Arizona xx Michelle
Love the new hair Erin! I love the tiered tray from Paisleys and Polka Dots. Can't wait to see all the upcoming charts for it too. Your lucky to have In-Laws to share their stash of cross stitching supplies with you! Amazing!!
I love all of your designs. I’m watching this while I’m at my mom’s in Regina. I live in Broadview, which is 150 km out of Regina. I recently got back into cross stitch and love it. I have done a few flosstube videos and anxiously waiting for June when I go to Stitch Con.
The Cozy Lane Sampler is gorgeous, but I love all of your designs! The Winter Tier is next on my list. I really like how you think on your feet with regards to finishing; you’re so willing to change something until you love it. How lucky are you that your in-laws stitch?! When you went through the box, it felt like Christmas! I inherited all of my mom’s stash. She passed in 1997 and I’m still using floss from her.
Thank you so much! It’s wonderful to have a Stitchy family, they are the ones that got me into it❤️ It totally feels like Christmas, I can’t wait to really look through all the magazines!
First of all - your hair is adorable! So chic. Cozy Lane is perfect - do not change a thing! You didn’t mention all the trims. Are they Lady Dot? Do you have any ideas for more accessible options? Love the video. Your designs are all on my Christmas wish list! Thank you for sharing your talent. ❤
Thank you! More accessible options for what? For trims? The trims I used for cozy lane were mini pompom trim that I got at the fabric store, Fabricland, super good sale on it! And the burlap rickrack was from the dollar tree. I usually find my trims from the fabric and quilt shop here or dollar store and Micheals has trim bundles that are a great deal but the lengths are short so really only good for small projects. I have found some trims on Amazon too. I did recently buy some lady dot creates trim but I haven’t used it yet! Let me know if you were asking about something else! 😊
Your new hair cut is very becoming. You look great. Since your in laws are stitchers too why not have them as a guest and show us what they are currently working on. Just an idea.Good luck on the quilting class
Hi Erin, I have a question... I absolutely your designs, but I have such eye issues with paper charts. I basically use Pattern Keeper for all my stitches. Will your designs eventually come out on PDF? I really want to stitch A Type of Christmas and my new favorite is, of course, Cozy Lane. I just can't get myself to buy any more paper charts.
Love all your designs ! I think the floral finish was too heavy. Takes away from the stitch. The stitch is stunning but I feel like your eye goes to floral instead of stitching.
Fantastic costumes! Those block party patterns are fabulous! Thank you the turkey.
Love Cozy Lane…❤❤❤
Your haircut is super cute! Love your patterns! 💕
The block finishes are great. Thanks for sharing! 🪡🪡
Cozy Lane is absolutely adorable!! The floral at the top is perfect! Don’t change a thing!!!! Your hair is really pretty, too. Love your stuff!!! ❤❤❤
Love all your new designs so adorable. Great costume’s over the years so adorable. Great haul have a wonderful weekend and happy stitching 😊🧵🪡🤗🤩
Thank you! You too!
I, too, love Cozy Lane. Waiting for my chart to come.. will be stitching it soon! Love all of your designs. Appreciate your videos and your ideas to finish.

I actually did try it on the bottom and liked it but then the top felt so naked. I think I’m going to revisit it again though! Thank you 😊
You have such a beautiful soothing voice.
Thank you 😊
I love the pumpkin floral! I do not think that it distracts in any way.
Your stitching =fabulous paisley and polka a dots=I adore time with family =priceless.
❤❤❤

That is awesome! Nice to meet you neighbour! I’ll have to checkout your flosstube!
I love your finish for the fall piece with the floral above it. If you do change it just reduce the floral.
Thank you! 😊
Like your new hair cut and your stitching projects!😊
Thank you! 😊
LOVE the halloween costumes.....absolutely gorgeous that you are all involved
Thank you so much!

Your in-laws both stitch?? You have built in stitching buddies 😃 That sounds so awesome to me 😊
Yes they do! It’s wonderful 😊

I totally agree! I’m going to revisit it for sure!
I think the top is beautiful but too much for the finishing. Also love the color palette
Thank you 😊
