I’m still trying to figure out how Carol climbed onto those shelves with wheels and the shelves didn’t roll 😂 anndddd Carol with her lying and manipulating 🙄
Hey love your recation videos hahaha. I have to say I personally found the episode a bit boring just cause the pacing was really slow. I liked the Carol scenes but honestly some of them could've been shorter or removed all together, especially considering this will most likely be the last time we get the French cast. That being said I still enjoyed it but I don't understand the double standards with Carol and Isabelle. How come Isabelle "Manipulating" makes her such a horrible character but Carol completely making shit up is seen as badass and understandable? I love both characters but I just don't get it. Anyway great video👍
Yea it started kinda slow, but it seems like the rest of the season is going to be more exciting. I'm more interested in learning more about the Nest. And totally agree about Isabelle.
Carol is not completely making up a story. She was married, she did have a daughter. She did not work Daryl over to get his help in looking for Sophia. With Ash, she realized the one in she had with Ash was to have a parallel story to his loss of his son. She hard lied to Ash to get his help, to find her way to France. She could justify this in her mind as means to an end. Ultimately Ash found her walking away from his home and the plane, not set to badger him to pieces for his help but willing to accept it when he offered. You might be right about her initial lie to set in motion her plan to get to France. It was a conscious decision to make the ride happen It doesn't feel as deeply disturbing as NUnny Isa's do what I say oh you won't do as I say, then don't let the door hit you on the way out.
@@aelee9024 I'm sorry, but this is being hypocritical."She could justify this in her mind as means to an end." So could Isabelle... she needed Daryl to get her and Laurent safely to the nest. Even when she lied, Daryl chose to help because he realized they could both benefit from this exchange. She would get where she needed to go and he would get a guide through France with people who actually know the country. On top of that, Isabelle did promise him to get him to a boat, but things obviously took a turn. It wasn't done because she's a bad person. Shit just happens. Also, episode by episode, the characters get closer unintentionally, because when you're in an apocalypse, you have to learn to trust people for your own survival. That type of trust connects people, so obviously by the end, there was definitely a connection, whether they wanted to accept it or not. It's just what happens; it's not something that's done on purpose. Isabelle did what she had to do for Laurent. It doesn't make her a bad person, just the same as what Carol did. She lied to get to Daryl. Also, just to add that Daryl's plan actually coincided with Isabelle's plan. Like, they both had to go practically in the same direction, whereas Carol convinced a man to literally fly a plane to a whole other continent for something that wasn't even true. I love both characters, but I would like for someone to give me valid reasons as to why they hate Isabelle instead of some shit that really isn't that bad and has been done by literally every TWD character.

We need to protect Ash at all cost!!
