Hello..we are your CT viewers coming to Lincoln Maine soon... love your videos...1 question, you mentioned your AC unit used 60% of your batteries...was. this at night? If not, were the solar panel output not enough to generate the necessary energy? Great video
Hi! I was talking about running our air conditioner during the hottest part of the day. Air conditioners use a tremendous amount of energy. Plus, they use a large load when you first turn them on. So yes, solar panels are rarely able to bring in energy fast enough to support running an air conditioner for very long. We only use it as a last resort on very hot days.
I should have also said, you can run an air conditioner off of a generator. That can run indefinitely as long as you have enough fuel. I was only referring to running it solely off of solar panels.
I'm glad I found your channel. I had started searching for information about a possible trip to the northeastern Canada, even considering New England. So, over the course of a few weeks, I watched all your videos, and it was a pleasant surprise, much like when you open Russian nesting dolls. Even though I don't own an RV (I live in Europe), your content about landscapes and views is exceptional, even in its presentation. Keep it up!
You’re all caught up! Thanks so much for watching all of our videos. I’m glad they were entertaining and I enjoyed all of your comments along the way. Where are you from in Europe? I have traveled to Great Britain and Germany several times, and Jason and I enjoyed a big trip to Austria and Hungary a few years ago for our 25th anniversary. Hope you make it to Canada, it’s a beautiful country! Happy Travels.
@@CircuitRidinRV I'm an italian from Venice living in Barcelona- Spain. I also lived in London, and traveled all over Europe. Trains and planes can take you to all destinations within reasonable prices. I only know Slovenia (lubliana, the capital) and Hungary (Pecs, Budapest and smaller cities nearby) of the eastern block. I am planning Poland and Czech Republic in the near future if the situation doesn't deteriorate due to the war. I've only been to S. FRancisco and NY in the states but I really want to come back and see Quebec, Montreal, Ottawa, Ontario and Niagara falls. If I have more time then I'd like to pop into Maine or some north-eastern states (VT, NH)But I fear that will have to wait a little bit longer...
@@robbar42 Very cool! We would love to go to Poland someday. We have also been to all the places you mentioned in Canada. Of those, Quebec City is definitely our favorite because it reminds us of Europe!
by the way, concerning Montreal, there's this channel called "Capitaine Montreal" who lives there (speks french though,) but explores every nook and cranny of the city. Maybe it can help to give you some insight..
We have the EcoFlow Delta Pro, which brings in a max of 1800W on AC and 1600W on solar. Here’s the spec sheet for more info. us.ecoflow.com/products/delta-pro-portable-power-station We chose to over-panel to bring in as much as possible even in cloudy conditions. Plus we can split between the two solar panel runs and charge two towers at the same time if we had full sun.
Great idea, for use of the dryer vent. You guys got some great ideas going on. I see you up to 900 subscribers. Congratulations! I bet next video you be 1K.
This is really cool.

Doesn’t the ECO flow have a max solar input of 1,500 watts?
