I never understood why his character never took off in Chicago Fire and then, Chicago Med. His character was quite mysterious and at the same time, interesting. I'm questioning the reasons why they did that to his character. Well, they let go of Colin Donnell. So obviously, they're not thinking straight.

They let go of A LOT of people they shouldn't have let go of! They let go of Elias Koteas (Alvin Olinsky), Alina Taber (Lexi Olinsky), Jon Seda (Antonio Dawson), Sophia Bush (Erin Lindsay), Torrey DeVitto (Natalie Manning), Yaya DaCosta (April Sexton), Stella Maeve (Nadia Decotis), Cleveland Berto (Andre Cooper), Yuri Sardarov (Brian "Otis" Zvonecek), Steven R. McQueen (Jimmy Borelli), Brian Geraghty (Sean Roman), Rachel DiPillo (Sarah Reese), Lisseth Chavez (Vanessa Rojas), Archie Kao (Sheldon Jin), and Samuel Hunt (Greg "Mouse" Gerwitz). To say they're not thinking straight is an understatement!
