Love to run Nahiri's Resolve in a deck like this. Exiling your equipments and returning them all to the battlefield to make even more weapon-weilding tokens feels so great.
First, gotta say, love the show! Watch it a lot, even take inspiration to make spin offs of decks here but with my own flavor to them! Equipment decks, especially in Brawl is some of my favorite decks, personally would have left the "Dimir sword" in just for the protection from blue/black, stalls or even potentially shuts down a lot of blue and/or black control oft lacking or having minimal artifact removal, thus forcing them to use permanent removal on your sword (while you have an abundant of equipments) rather than your units or other utility. And sense equipment decks typically are aggro, that's only when they can manage to get the removal for it (though there is the unfortunate moments they have something in hand, but it's fine because that forces them to use it rather than one something more important), otherwise you're swinging in unchallenged on them. This is especially great with big Danitha, because say they do manage to remove it and it goes to the graveyard, slam down big Danitha on the crack back and she pulls it from the graveyard back onto herself, so now they're back to being forced to deal with it while you have at least a 6/6 with first strike, lifelink, and vigilance w/ protection from blue/black they have to deal with immediately otherwise things will quickly get out of hand for them. So, even if you're not really using instants or sorceries in your deck, the "Dimir sword" still has a ton of value to it.
I'll have to try her out as commander instead of just in the 99 of my Akiri deck, but I just love the protection I can get from Akiri being castable whenever.
Paradox engine is BS and should have a built in downside like causing you to sac stuff after so many taps or untaps in a turn. Could still be pretty strong, just needs something to give hope after their 20 min turns. Rivers rebuke is more busted imo though. A one sided board wipe for 6 is something that should cost at least two cards as a combo to do.
Now i dont hate the combo with Paradox Engine but what i do hate is when people take a really long time trying to actually take their turns with it and it takes well over 10+ minutes for them to hust durdle and do nothing.
Ill have to try and catch a stream so I can submit my werewolf deck. Im not the greatest at deck building. I'd be curious to see what you would change.
that mono blue deck near the end was interesting to watch. thanks for showing the game i know it took a long time to play that one for you. these games give me ideas for what to use and not to use for my decks so even showing opponents decks gives ideas
I had a blast watching this! I'd love to build this in paper. Any suggestions to replace the 7 Arena cards? Some of them seem pretty integral to the equipment theme...
Paradox Engine is my favourite card in MTG which brought me back from a 14 year hiatus, but even as a lover of it who always play it only with clear same-turn wins I wholeheartedly agree that Arena interface should get better at handling loops. This is not even just for it, but for the Combo archetype in general who also suffers 😢
It is only because I love your content and want your UA-cam metrics to look good that I did not skip out of the video once the opponent's Paradox Engine hit. That was actually disgusting to watch.
@@Amazonian yeah it deals both first strike and the regular combat damage but it doesn't gain first strike unfortunately, I had to learn that the hard way lol
That embercleave is giving me flashbacks to when Eldraine was in drafts/standard. Believe in Cleave!
Love a good Embercleave!
Odric, Lunarch Marshal might be a fun inclusion in the deck. Lots of equipment has a keyword attached, and giving it to the whole squad is fun
Paradox engine should be in historic brawl. But any decks including it should be in their own cue.
They should be matched only against Sparky, since they seem to enjoy playing single player so much.
Nahiri has always been awesome and with each new release just love her even more! 0:36

Ok that intro really got me. 😂
I love Nahiri!! So happy we can play her as a commander!! Peak Nahiri is power level 9000!!!

Akiri is great!
1:01:28 You bolted the OOP! 😂

I think Boros Equipment may have peaked
I thought the Zendikar Rising Nahiri and Akiri were the champs, but then this guy shows up!
Love the reference in the beginning 🤣
How was I not subbed?? Love you when you show up on other shows!

It's so sad when your commander dies and you have to pay four to bring them back 😢😢😢 Nahiri Gang

I'd check EDHRec for some good paper suggestions!
Wizards gave us more equipment love, hooray. Amy's great, hooray.
Everytime I see a Paradox Engine hit the battlefield I roll my eyes hahaha
Q: Would you put Fire and Ice in here (and what would you replace) and why no Once and Future, just wondering - Your friendly swords lover
sam raimi spider-man reference? instantly subbed
My favorite quote from Spider-Man 2 is when the bank teller says "ow".
I gotcha for 3 minutes! 3 minutes of play time!
Wait I’m confused, how were you able to equip the embercleave with the sword attached, wouldn’t it make not a eligible target for the attachment
The creature on the left had the sword
@@Amazonian aaaah I see nvm :)
I love Nahiri, so I am so pumped!
Finally a reason to ressurect my Wyleth equipments deck \o/ But with a new commander
No, you’re doing amazing.
Love the OG Spider-Man reference.
I can quote an embarrassing amount of Spider-Man 2 especially
Please do! 😄

nahiri definetly replaces jor kadeen for boros equipment
Jor could also go in this deck. Great card
Alright, alright, alright - even though I don't love PEngine without some ways to shortcut, looping Meteorite is a sweet win condition :)
It would be great in paper with shortcuts, but in Arena it's a doozy
It is only because I love your content and want your UA-cam metrics to look good that I did not skip out of the video once the opponent's Paradox Engine hit. That was actually disgusting to watch.
seems like a cool commander too bad puresteel paladins not in arena
Little confused double strike does not give first strike too
It does! Double strike is short hand for First Strike plus Regular damage
@@Amazonian yeah it deals both first strike and the regular combat damage but it doesn't gain first strike unfortunately, I had to learn that the hard way lol
Hey i have about 100 voodoo ranger shirts just like that from my work!
Do you work at Voodoo Ranger? If so,neat!
@@Amazonian I wish. No, just sell it
That freakin' infinite combo with meteorite is freakin' hilarious to me as someone who LOVES meteorite, paradox engine aside.
❤❤❤❤❤
Ban Paradox Engine haha
