Hi, Thanks for the comment Bodek. I use a Mac and use a program called Panorama Stitcher. I have however in the past used Microsoft ICE and that works well.
Is there a chance you could get me a copy of this footage? I have the same hauppage rocket pvr but have not been able to get out to fly these past few days due to a tropical system here in Texas. I'd like to see the quality not streaming over wifi. Thanks!
The quality is 720 from the controller hdmi port. What you see in the video is exactly the same as what was recorded via the pvr, there are quality issues and its not perfect.
Pegasus Drone Media that Thanks for the quick reply. I'm curious, do you think the antenna that is used matters? For example, might one of the range extenders improve the signal slightly? Obcuously, it won't boost it above 720 but with video consistenty?
I use the 4Hawks antenna and it doesn't make any difference to the video quality, it just improves a constant connection as opposed to the mushroom antenna. If you need direction strength as long as you point the square antenna at the aircraft that will be a little stronger than the mushroom but you will need to keep it pointed in the direction of the 520. Here's a link to the 4hawks unboxing video I made which is very easy to fit with no need to go into the controller. ua-cam.com/video/z8rkC0XW4yA/v-deo.html
Hi Carlos. You can’t install screen record apps on the ST16s controller as it’s android 4.4.4 and screen record apps came out on android 5.0 unless of course you root it which I don’t advise. I screen record using a portable PVR such as the Hauppage rocket mini via the hdmi out of the ST16s controller
The Hauppage PVR runs off of a 20000mAh powerbank vis USB. HDMi into it and can even HDMI back out to a field monitor. Heres a link to it www.hauppauge.co.uk/site/products/data_hdpvr_rocket.html
How do you stich those survey fotos? What software do you use?
Great tutorial btw

Nice video. How you record the screen on the H controller? I can install any app on my H520 with thermal.

Thanks Pegasus... Haupapage to a laptop for record or what? I use the drone in the field without electric power. How do you do it?
