Thanks for the encouragement to spend more time outside. To disconnect from technology more. To talk to God more. I enjoy your videos for the crafting AND for the chats at the end! Thank you for all the great card-making tips and for being bold in your faith!
I love that you share your faith! That is so hard for me to do, even tho I have been a Christian since a child too! You are so calm & serene when you talk & it is pleasing to hear. You go girl!!
Great tips and your cards are all pretty..love all your health talks and I agree with you why go outside when there’s cards to make and UA-cam videos to watch, yes my state is Florida and it’s to humid and so hot, I do like to walk also. Thanks Anna.😊
If I have a walking partner, I'm more apt to do it....plus we call it our chat time and we can 'solve the world's problems' during that time time too!❤ You are doing better and appreciate the personal touches you are adding to your videos❤
Excellent video today, in every way. My husband and I became members of our local zoo. The zoo is just 10 minutes away. That way, we can walk whenever we feel like it. We also get to observe many of our Creator's creatures. Right now, with children in school, the zoo is pretty much our private sanctuary. Lord bless you Sister and keep walking with the Lord. Your input is so good for all of us. Planting those seeds in a perfect way. God bless you.
Wonderful suggestions for feeling better. I have no desire to run, it would not be pretty nor safe.😄 Thank you for sharing paper saving tips and life tips.
Love love LOVE watching you, your videos definitely come from the heart, you are so incredibly sweet...as a 66 year old woman, I truly love hearing what you have to say...I love going into the woods, I actually feel like the woods talk to us, this is my happy place, used to be the beach, but now it's the woods, the mountains, living in Florida we don't get to see too much of the seasons but there are a lot of trails to walk on and you definitely can be more aware of the Lord's presence there...thank you sweet girl for your videos ❣️🤗
Thanks for the tips! I walk daily with my walker. It is an all terrain one with rubber wheels. It works well on the street. My husband walks with me, so I really have no excuses. I need to do other exercises for joints and waking up the nerves. It does feel wonderful to get outdoors.
I use the lines on my cutting board all the time. Thank you once again for that! 8-). I'm always inside and I love it. My son called me one day I was out and he said "Mom, are you outside?" When I said yes he asked, "Did the light hurt your eyes?" I told him be glad he was on the phone and not in front of me! LOL. Oh yeah, quiet time is prayer time.
I started walking in 2021 (after gaining 35# during Covid quarantine, depression after the death of my mother, and quitting smoking). I realized dieting alone was not enough to get the weight off and, like you, I do not run! I bought an exercise bike… nope! (I need to give that away on FB Marketplace). Walking was the answer. I enjoy walking even if it’s just up and down my driveway and around my cul-de-sac. While I’m walking I talk to God, or talk on the phone to friends/family, or listen to music…and just walk. It’s therapeutic. Great advice! Love the cards as always!!
Amen Anna!!! You are so right! This world is NOISY!!! It screams to get our attention! It makes it an absolute necessity to schedule quiet time with God. And we need to schedule time for exercise too! Great video, thanks! And useful tips too!
I love your little talks. I started iodine after you spoke about it. I have been making cards for over 25 years. I do 100 cards a month for my Paxtor. They all have scripture verses plus he gives me a certain verse every month to add in. They are all different and have a lot of art. He sends them to our shut ins and everyone he ministers to. It's a wonderful ministry. I am 69 and retired. I was working out 5 times a week and had a shoulder surgery that took a year to heal. Now I haven't felt motivated to get back Into it. Keep encouraging us. The LORD is using you!
When I'm using a mat layer on my cards, I frequently cut the mat as if it were a frame, with the inside being smaller than the piece that will go on top. That way I have the entire center to use on other projects. It's not quite as easy as punching out circles, but the inner rectangle is a bit more versatile.
I get up early and walk. If I waited till the middle of the day I probably wouldn't do it. But I make it just about every day except for bad weather. Good Luck and hope you feel better.
Wow....I mean your paper crafting tips are wonderful. One of my favorite projects is the set of drawers, and I love making them. But, your insightful thoughts are soulful.
Great video as always! You have inspired me to leave the house and get out there for a walk. AND to play some more with my favorite Bird's Eye View. I must take the time to mask the books and make a stack of them!
I'm with you on the walking. My husband needs to walk and l do too, but he will have to ask me half a dozen times before I will stop what I'm doing and go with him!
If you don't have a doggie, get one because he/she needs to walk and get all the positive elements you are talking about. If you love you dog it will make you both feel good!
I used to walk every day. I have gotten out of the habit. I need to do it again. I was feeling better when I was getting a walk in each day. Now that the days are getting longer, I will plan to get a walk in after I get home from work.
When I used my watercolor pencils, I always used a water brush. Sometimes I would lay down the color on the paper and use the water brush to move it around for shading, etc. Occasionally, if I had borne down too hard with the pencil, it created lines that I couldn't brush out. My favorite way of working is to take the water brush and lift the color directly from the pencil tip. It felt a bit like using a regular paintbrush and dipping into watercolor paint trays, and gave me a smoother look. I've never used a blender pen, but it looks like Anna got a nice smooth look from it. Experiment and see what you like. 😊. Good luck!
You can use either blender pens or a water painter - they give different effects. If you're using a water painter, you're probably better off using watercolor paper, but that isn't necessary with blender pens. Roxanne is correct about experimenting to see what you like 😊
Sounds a bit like you are following GAPS protocol. Good on you for looking at more natural ways and for beginning the journey towards fixing your gut microbiome for your health.

Inhaling “ GREEN” , is what I call it, when walking.
Thank you for the craft tips.
Anna - Love the Owl cards.

Thanks for all the paper saving tips!!! Super cute cards!!
Less cardstock also equals less weight and bulk for mailing, too.
Anna - I'm not a runner either. I don't run outside unless I am being chased by a bear. Hasn't happened yet, but I am definitely being careful... LOL
As Always Thank You so Much for Sharing ALL the tips!!! Saving paper = Saving Money something we ALL Need to do these days!!!
I love your new name! Suits you & what you do 😊
Love the idea of using DSP as the card front and you see it inside.

bedankt voor je tip
Yes when I have a brain lock of what to add more a card, I go out and play with my dogs.
I believe what you are saying. Keep on taking those baths. You are healed in the name of Jesus. Amen
Thank you..

Early on I learned that I buy both sides of the paper, so I may as well flip it over and use it again. 😂
what storage do you use for your 8 1/2 X 5 1/2 card bases?
I noticed you have a new format.
Where did you get your paper storage behind you? Laurel
Is it better to use blender pens or water painter for the colored pencils? Do you need to use watercolor paper?
When I used my watercolor pencils, I always used a water brush.
