The original "I buy old records" got me through Covid for something to do and on to 45 collecting after. Glad your back on Fredonia trails. Stay safe buddy.
Mack you’re a legend! You’ve done gone as far south as you can go! Glad to see you keeping Sun records alive, hope there aren’t any more tornadoes 🌪️ or such things cheers from Canada 🍁
Great job, Mack! I love hearing the recorded room sound on both of the 78's. I bet it sounds really good in person. Keep rockin' and keep up the good work! 🎼👍🏼
Great Video, Mr Mack. The Johnny London meeting sounded interesting. I trust he didn't have any copies of his 78, or any old reminisces for you to chew on? I still collect 78s- but they're getting way too pricey now. Have a near mint of Rosco Gordon on shiny red RPM that just wails when pushed through my Leak TL10 Monobloc valve-(tube) amp. Them 78s of yours are fab. I love the I'm Coming Home track. I need that for my funeral! Happy to purchase a 78 press from you! All the best from Glasgow, Scotland. Hari
Hey Mack, are you missing the tornados and motorcycle gang wars yet? Some interesting tech and biographical insights there. And I did indeed enjoy hearing your recent rockabilly recordings. I'm open to some latter day crossover influences that you wouldn't approve of but when formative rockabilly's done right, nothing beats it. Appreciate the ongoing appreciation for Sir Raymond Campi. He's also a lifelong hero of mine. He's up there with Perks and Gene Vincent for me. Keep on a-howlin' and a-wailin' and a-potterin' around in your studio, brother.
I hope you're doing well. This is a really cool video. 78s need to comeback but not on shellac unless they aren't so brittle when they are new. My favorite 78 was Smile by Nat King Cole on a Purple Capitol. Did a faceplant on very soft carpet, but that was enough. I paid 30 or 40 bucks on discogs for another copy, but I didn't even have to open it to know it was in many pieces after it arrived. I didn't hold the seller accountable and he did offer me a refund but I didn't need it. I just needed to mend my broken heart. I don't have a lot of 78s but that was my favorite. If anyone has a copy and knows how to ship it or if you make one, let me know, Mac. I hope everything is good. Texas misses you, I'm sure.
You are missed but if it's a better life for you then good food must be amazing, still not into soccer yet?. US seems a right mess ATM a bit like here but we British like to moan anyway it's a national pastime. Be good if you had a podcast music/talk radio station or something. So this process means what stylus do you use when completed? If you cut on old equipment presume it's not modern needles. All the best. Martin
Hey man thanks this, it was one of the most interesting record type vids Ive seen. It’s really cool to actually learn something and see good people doing good things! Personally I really like 78’s, how they sound and the pop music from that era is very appealing. My table dont have 78 or 45 so I cant play any but I listen to another channel on pootube that plays only 78 and its something else 🤠
Hey mack has missed your videos. You need to make more of them. Totally awesome studio. Love the music. Take care buddy.

Holy shit, I've missed your videos man.. Please tell me that you are going to post more soon??
Mack, if you decide to make them for sale, count with me to buy them
I liked the sound of the first record 🤷😂 Even though the noise was gone on last one
