Many thanks for this video. I recently installed 265/70/17 on my stock suspension. Because the wheels are 8.5" and -10 offset, the tires were hitting the front and back. Did a little work with the Dremel and the heat gun and it's all better!
Rob I hope that you are getting upper control arms with whatever lift you are getting it’s very important to avoid any rubbing and also very important for the wheel alignment and also one more thing who ever you got your rims from did not do right by you they have the knowledge to sell you rims with the proper offset instead of just worrying about making a profit I hope you are going this time to professional shop this time
I looks like probably a 4” lift would have probably fixed the issue. The Toyota dealership actually removed my front inner fender when they did my lift and 35’s. That’s always an option and no one has ever noticed and I really don’t anymore either. That would probably definitely solve your problems.
Morning Rob from SoCal. Good luck with the issue, this kinda stuff bugs the heck out of me also. I recently installed a set of Bilsteins 5100’s and realized after Offroad usage that it’s not gonna meet my needs. Thinking of installing an ICON Stage 3 suspension.
Is the metal bracket is only holding bumper and inner fender together? If so, the view at 8 min 45 sec looks like you could drill second hole in bumper to pull fender 1/2 inch forward. Just a thought, keep the vids coming👍

Nice! Sounds like it wasn’t too much trouble👍
The things we endure for awesome looking trucks. Looking into a rub issue myself. Good luck, man!
First world problems for sure!!! 😁
Good job of leaving you finger imprints but I bet it will work
Finger imprints??

We’ll see. I’ve made so many changes I can’t blame the wheel vendor👍

It might. Although I’d probably have to get rid of the part of the facia that inner fender attaches to🤔
Does every Toyota dealership do lifts?
You got a polished fender now hehe 😜
I know right!!😐
What size tire and rim I have no rub on 285/ 70r/17 fuel rims
Same size here.

Thanks Eph. Seems the process is trial and error!!!! 😬
Did you try using a heat gun on your inner Fender and just getting it heated up so it's pliable and then pushing it back a little bit
Did you watch the video?
You tell him rob
Always witht the awesome Videos Rob! You should do one about Cab mount Chops
Thanks Don👍

Good suggestion. I need to see if there’s enough material to do it🤔
What about the pax side ? :)
Doesn’t seem to have any issues there🤔
Hi I hope that works and it won’t rub anymore! I notice that I don’t see your Tundra?
Me too! That would probably be too easy though😬
Or, you could just leave it stock and avoid these problems that nearly everyone seems to have. Just sayin’ ...
I’m sorry...I don’t understand!!😬
Amen brother!
Nice view of the top of your hat lol
Lol!! That’s the mic👍
Stock is better
Certainly less problems!👍
Take your hat off I can't see what our doing
Lol! It's a recorded video. If it were live, I could take off the hat! 😂
Go and film where it did happen then well know for sure.
