Resonated! Many of us have ended up on all ends of the planet but the Lakes has it. Nothing has surpassed it yet for me. Thankyou!
I visit The Lakes not nearly often enough but dream of them regularly. Your videos capture beautifully the images I drift off to, a peaceful but magnificent expression of nature at it’s very finest.
Thank you.
M speechless, last month I went there and clicked only the photos...now realized how badly Drone is required to see the unseen. Beautifully captured
Those Windermere peake look like a perfect place to cry,Im setting off.
Speechless. This was bloody beautiful mate, seriously touching and such a great reminder of how incredibly stunning and special the Lakes are. Brought us lot all together. Can't wait to get back on some adventures there with you soon, amazing film!
Thank you so much Jake, I really appreciate that💙 The Lake District will definitely always feel like home and the place where a lot of friendships were formed, I can’t wait either!
Absolutely stunning, Michael - your cinematography is masterful. And I really like the sound design that adds a lot to this film. Well done indeed!

You have visited these places on some amazing conditions I take my hat off to you, and can only dream of seeing what you have. Thanks for sharing
I've been very lucky, but thats why it took 2 years to get all of the right conditions! Thank you!
Absolutely amazing. Been watching your stuff for a few years. I'm Canadian, but married into a west-Cumbrian family and spent a year in the Cockermouth/Keswick area in '06/'07. This gorgeous reel has me feeling totally homesick. Beautifully shot and graded. Thanks for this.
Thank you so much, Blair! What an amazing connection to have to the place😊
Stunning! The best representation of the beauty and power of the Lake District that I have seen
Simply stunning. The drone shots, the music, the sound effects, the colour grade. A beautiful love letter to the Lakes.
Amazing! Excited to visit there too! Lake District looks stunning.
Just WOW … that is all, everyone has said it all already… WOW 😍
The shot at 2:24 is breathtaking, beautiful drone work and cinematography at Grasmere! Incredible shooting with the clouds throughout.
Thank you for a lovely experience ,such lovely memories of climbing in the lakes over years with family and friends. My daughter sent it as a new year present from her home in Greece from where she still longs to be there in the Lakes. It has given an 85 yr old a very happy hour.
Wow, This was stunning I certainly will be visiting the Lake District now a huge like from em my new friend.
Now that's a proper un' - You know how to fly and edit. Great shots. You must have spent a lot of time outdoors to get all those great conditions. Really beautiful. Top marks!
Thanks very much! It took 2 years to produce, January 2019 - January 2021!

This is just as amazing and beautiful as your video from 2017! I can't wait to return one day!
I just wish mountains were around 1800 to 2000 meters high still very good scenery though.
That’s so great. As I said I’m going to start doing one of these myself. Really inspiring this video too for people to get out and explore the beauty of the Lake District
Wow!! Fantastic job and hoping we can get out of this lockdown soon so I can fly my drone. Cheers!
Very breathtaking and amazing cinematic shots. Truly inspiring video!
Wow. So many memories. It’s been a long time since I swam out to the island on Ullswater with friends, or scrambled down Striding Edge on a school trip nearly 40 years ago. Or got lost in cloud on Blencathra. Need to get back over there after lockdown. Great footage as always Michael. I will be sharing this!
Really pleased you like it and I'm glad it could bring back some memories!
Absolutely inspirational, to make the effort to capture all those incredidble scenes I'm sure was life afirming. Very well done 💪👍
It was a magical experience, one I'll forever cherish! Thank you so much.
Very nice footage . I have to visit there when I return to England .
Great video ! After all this time in Lockdown the Lakes look even more awesome than ever. So the video is hypnotic
Great stuff, mate👏
brilliant video, just seen it on i love the lake district
What kind of fps and Nd filters do you usually go for if you don't mind me asking? I'm trying to get the best out of my drone for some biking vids I have planned
What a great video! You did an awesome job. Big thumbs up from me and a new subscriber 👏 Looking forward to the next video mate!

Fantastically beautiful video Michael. I can't believe I've only just found this. Too long since I've visited the Lakes.
Amazing job !!!
Fabulous seeing all that . Done all of it in the last 3 years except scafell itself . Took my mate to Whorneyside two weeks ago and up hells ghyll to three tarns below bowfell. Week before I climbed over crinkle crag opposite way Iv done it before ,. Striding , halls fell ridge and sharp edge are scary to do but worth the challenge . The cloud inversion over great langdale was brilliant. It’s also so beautiful on a clear day . Who doesn’t love the lakes especially when you can capture its beauty on camera like this .
