It's so ridiculous that any of these actors have to announce this type of thing. Each project is separate and they don't owe this level of commitment to these fans. Get a grip.
I agree with you to some extent. An acting job should be just an acting job. You do it, and move on to the next project. But when it comes to BL, companies like GMMTV or Domundi make their actors almost uniquely work as part of a pair, or as "ships". Both the company and the actors highly profit from these ships when they are successful (though, in my opinion, this hinders professional development). So when the actors part ways, I do believe fans are owed some sort of explanation. This not only gives fans closure, but it also ensures that they will continue to support their idols outside of the ship, so the actors don't lose their fan base.
I agree with you but not totally, in bl industry they use actor bond to gain fans support and actor and company both make profit from it. So, when they decided to go different ways they owed their fans some explanation or at least a confirmation that they're ending ships, its also help some fans to understand that nothing is permanent and what they're seeing are all just friendship not a relationship Because there are some cp who never announced anything like this and go their different ways, are not doing any more work together but still their fans are hoping for their work together (some people will say it's fans problem but no it what those actors tell while promoting their cp bond)
I was never a fan of Perth/Chimon anyway, so Chimon leaving to focus on his health is a blessing in a way. They just didn't have good chemistry onscreen... offscreen chemistry was on point, though. I wish Chimon many blessings in the future. Although it sucks when BL paired actors disband since the fans like seeing them act together; it's great when they can venture out and do their own thing as well. They're not tethered to one person or project and fans need to respect and understand this.

They had good chemistry, too. I just hope this pairing lasts longer than Perth's other pairings or I'll start to assume that Perth might be the issue. He's one of my favorite Thai actors, though, so he'll always have my support as an actor.
I think MileApo are also on spiltville because we barely see any interaction between them now and they are doing solo activities now . To be honest l think its better to abolish the shipping culture because some fans take the ships way too serious and this is why these actors sometimes end up choosing to stop working together
The way it ended between Apo and Mile was a good example of fanservice. They were together everywhere acting as a couple and saying they don't do fanservice. But the day it got out that Mile had a gf, everything stops. So if it was not fanservice, why did it stop? 😂
Sad that any working partnership ends and particularly when there was a personal friendship that also fails. Many of us who had particularly hoped for a sequel to MODC were disappointed but most are over that now. Shame the guys have fallen out but it happens. Wish them and all the other guys well in whatever they do next.
I am just a viewer and i love watching every bl dramas and kdrama but i never cross my limit as a fans reel and real life is different and we should ship characters not actors or actresses in real life 😊 they are artists and its there job and we as a fans we should enjoy watching that’s it❤

On the one hand , it would be interesting to watch one more good drama like Laws of attraction with Jam and Film, on the other hand, I believe they both want to develop their careers, and it's good to support them,as I like them both. I do consider that one of the most important characteristics of successful BL couples is chemistry. That is why i'm glad that the pairs from Love syndrome and Dangerous romance split, I think there will be more interesting partnerships for all them. Looking forward for their separate projects.
Unpopular opinion...where acting is concerned i think Chimon is a much much much better actor than Perth. That is not to say Perth is a bad actor, he is also excellent there's no doubt. I quite liked Dangerous Romance and mark my words a time will come when people will seriously regret bullying him for his role as Sailom. I can only wish he gets a good script in future where he can shine even more than before.
The fact no one expected chimon suffering from depression makes me think how long he has been struggling with it. I am pretty sure the "criticism" people showed towards his acting might have worsen his condition. I just hope he comes back healthy.
Chimon has established himself as a pretty decent actor for almost a while now, and so has Perth. The problem was them together with the script. Chimon is NOT good at bl roles. Perth is really good if he has good partner to bounce on, and sadly Chimon wasn't it. And that half-baked script wasn't doing snyone any favours. They both did the best with what they were given and it failed

The way most BL fans take series couples from the fantasy to the real world has always baffled me... it's like they don't want the fantasy world end and they force the actors into fake relationships forgetting that they are people with individual needs... and actors with professional needs and goals. Absolutely Frank is great in rebound. Good job. The ship that broke me was OhmNon. I felt sad for netjames. I needed perthchimon to end. I could feel his depression from the screen. Filmjet was obvious. Rest didn't exist

I'm a bit disappointed about the rest of the pairs not being paired up anymore, but they're actors; it's what they're supposed to do. Venture out and explore other avenues. As actors, they're not tethered to one specific job or person and that's what's wrong with a lot of BL fans. They're not differentiating between acting and reality and this causes a lot of issues for BL actors.
actually to be honest I really liked Jam & Films honesty about splitting to do other projects, there is so much fan shipping done to please the public that when partners do move on people really dont like it or its a suprise.

Pawin's case - a ship broken up by the company itself - was the result of GMMTV going into damage control mode. Although "We Are" is dreadful, I was actually impressed that GMMTV managed to re-shoot all scenes with Pawin (replacing him with Poon) and release the series as planned. BTW: "Dangerous Romance" was the last series for both PerthChimon and MarcPawin. I actually liked Pawin and Marc in that show, I also liked Pawin in "Star and Sky" - but I also have to say that Marc and Poon are doing a decent job, at least in "Perfect 10 Liners".
I knew EnZhi would be on the list. I dont care if their ship sinks, but its their friendship breakup that hurts me alot. They been together for 4 years and suddenly they became strangers. I hope people stop jumping into conclusions and say something bad about CC or Wayne, because we know nothing and everything that been spreading on the internet mostly are rumors, like CC didn't appreciate Wayne's efforts and Wayne being the one who tried to keep their friendship bla bla bla. CC being the one who unfollowed Wayne first doesnt mean he is the bad guy. Like what i said before, we know nothing. Lets just support them both and hope for the best, that maybe one day they will reconcile, bcs their friendship was so beautiful and genuine 😢

On the other hand, I've only seen JJ in "I Saw You in My Dream" (which is not a very good BL, tbh) and I was inmediately captivated by him. So, for me, the NetJames "break up" is a win-win. Frank being apart from Long Lee is also good news! I'm sorry, but LL is a terrible actor. Frank was quite fine in The Rebound. There was more chemistry between Meen-Frank, Frank-Ping or Meen-Frank-Ping (yes, I was actually rooting for the throuple-route) than between him and LL or even Drake. I hope he gets better opportunities in the future.

Okay, sadly, this is news for CC and Wanye. Yeah, as a first-timer, I watched BL and only MOCD, and I was impressed with their acting in or behind the scenes. I have been stalking al both of them, For IG they are still connected in a hidden way & still like the posts but do not put them into comments. for other platforms, I still understand what happened. I wish the best of them in their career & Life. Yes, it hurt for CC & Wayne to separate for their love story and work. As Str8 guys I only approved for CC & Wanye relay..hahaha😀

@@Hdjejdjdndk If my memory serves me right, my first BL -- i guess i can call it official -- was SKAM Season 3 -- the OG Norway Series -- Season 3 focused on the BL couple. Love By Chance (Studio Wabi Sabi) was the next one i think -- when i think about it, i literally chanced upon it on youtube. I forgot when i fell into gmmtv rabbit hole -- not just BL 😄 & i forgot which was my first BL from gmmtv. I also watch other countries' BL works

I laugh so much hearing this !! If some Bls fans can't cope when a couple no longer will be together I SAY TO THEM get a life !! this is entertainment !! The problem is all the fan service that these actors have to act like they are lovers even after a series is over !! These guys are actors its a job like any other !! Plus they have a life just like you and me !! Maybe the industry should mix it up more don't have the same two in every series as lovers !! It does get some what boring after awhile !! Here in the west we have actors we know they are married or have a partner in real life and we don't get hung up on that ,when they are in a movie ect ect acting with someone else as their love interest !! Its entertainment people its not real so enjoy it for what it is !! Plus these actors want to grow and yes they move on and when they have to do series after series together and all the fan service, it must get a bit much and I can see that they want to part and do their own thing its natural !!

James is planning to leave the industry for now, so who cared what he does. He isn't a celeb anymore, just some private citizen. Also, people are allowed to have a life. They are actors...no other country or industry does this kind of nonsense where the actors need permission from fans before they accept roles with other actors.
